I was truly skeptical and assumed that I would not like this journal as it was not written by a fellow mental health therapist (as far as I know.) However, I realized very quickly that this is a great journal. I love how you have on one side a gratitude list and on the right something to make you think about who you are or want to be. My favorite pages were about negative thinking as we all engage in negative thinking, some more than others. There were other topics as well but they all made you think. As to the gratitudes, this is something we all need to be more aware of. Gratitudes do not have to be big things they can be small things. Lastly, my absolutely favorite thing is found in the introduction where it says the pages do not have to be done in any order. I initially skipped this statement and thought this should have been in the journal but then I flipped back and saw it was already in the journal!
