I ordered the HMMSYLVA Shiatsu Foot Massager as a gift for myself; as it often happens, everyone in my house has used it and loves it.Now, I did read a review regarding the longevity of this product, which makes me wary. I’ll absolutely come back and update if it breaks or gets damaged through routine use. So far, so good – we love it.It does need to be plugged in and uses a standard two-prong plug, so we ran a short extension cord so we could use it while sitting on a couch that was too far from an outlet. We did not experience any odd heating or concerning issues with that. The massager can run clockwise or counter clockwise, with increased or decreased strength, and with or without heat. I preferred to wear socks while using the massager for cleanliness and comfort reasons. One of my children observed that it tickled more on bare feet as opposed to when using socks. If your feet are ticklish, you may want to avoid! The massager was extremely quiet and the heat was comfortable and could be easily felt even with socks. It was not so hot as to be uncomfortable. I was also able to use this massager around my ankles and on my thighs; your ability to do that may depend on your body shape (my spouse was unable to use it in this way). I do like the included remote and feel that it works well with the massager. When using the massager, I have no issues with sending signals and adjusting controls with the remote. I also did not have the experience of the other reviewer in that I had no issues with my adapter plug. The outside of the massager is also easy to clean, but the area where you would place your feet (or other body part) does not seem easily cleaned. I would use clean socks with this product, personally.My biggest criticism with this massager is that the massage goes around in a circle rather than having different zones as other massagers often do, and as the product page seemed to imply with “Shiatsu” – “scraping” – “kneading” – “heating” – “rolling”. I’m not sure that this massager really delivered when those qualities are considered. That said, it is really a minimal problem – I can easily set up this massager, sit on the couch, and fold laundry while my feet get some attention. It was really nice to use after leg day!I’m not sure that this product is a good value for the cost. Products like this one tend to cost a significant amount upfront, and you hope that it lasts long enough to get good value. I would be more impressed if it was still working well in a year. I’ll gladly update as to my experience with the durability and longevity of this massager. For the cost/value, I’m awarding 4*. If it lasts, it’s worth more!

Decent foot massage
I got this foot massager to pamper myself and my tired achy feet after a long day. It has shiatsu and kneading, more like massage nodes and rolling that target pressure points effectively. Itâs strong enough to relieve tension but not so intense that it becomes painful. It has three intensity levels for the rolling balls and circulating discs. It has a remote for convenience. The foot area is small â fine for my size 7.5 foot but my husbandâs size 11 foot did not fit well, and he said it was uncomfortable. But it is nice that you can use it on legs or arms. Also, I notice zero heat on mine. The massager is lightweight and compact, making it easy to move and store.

Feels good at lower speeds, if you can keep the cord from becoming disconnected
This is the typical massager that has the round balls on the circulating discs. There are three varying speeds. At high speed, it can become a bit much.Id does include a remote, although you need to get it really close to the massager in order to work.The remote includes all of the controls found on the massager itself, with the addition of two more.The massager itself include a power button, direction button, speed button, and infrared het button.The remote includes two additional buttons for Intelligence and Conservation. Intelligence just switches the direction at a more common occurrence, while conservation just reduces the red light to about half intensity.You don’t really feel any heat.The only issue I’ve had with it is the power cord. It will not stay plugged into the side of the massager. It easily becomes disconnected. It’s like barrel plug doesn’t push it far enough to the female port.
