It sinks in very quickly and took about 2 drops to cover my face. It sinks in pretty quickly and has a tightening effect. Even though there is fragrance in this – I couldn’t detect it at all. Not the best for acne prone skin -contains lots of chmeicals and glycerin used as a base
Unfortunately, even as I age, I still have issues with acne and sensitive skin. I am always looking for products that treat my more mature skin while not clogging pores or making acne worse. While this serum is a thicker clear liquid that is easy to apply, that’s because the base ingredients contain a bunch of gunk like glycerin, glycol and alcohol, which my sensitive and acne prone skin doesn’t do well with. This is probably great for others, just not me. I do like that there is no scent to this product, and it does not stin my skin upon application like other Vitamin C serums I’ve tried. I am always skeptical of things that claim instant results. I mean, how instant can they be, right? So I decided to only do half my face so I could say for sure. I had been using it a couple days and didnât really think it was doing much, so imagine my surprise when my half-face test showed a marked difference! I especially noticed that when I smiled, the areas under my eyes were much less wrinkly. I didnât really notice it until I smiled and then it was night and day different.I donât think this feels as moisturizing as other serums Iâve tried, so I think Iâll pair with a moisturizer, but my doubts about itâs effectiveness have been laid to rest.
