Terrific Sliding Board
I watched a number of YouTube videos on the use of sliding boards safely. Very helpful. It takes a little practice to position the board properly, but this board is great. It holds my 260 lb husband who has very little use of his legs. We purchased the 32â x 10â board and it is long enough and wide enough to transfer him safely.

Get scratches easy but still better than many out there
Husband is wheelchair bound so we use this board to transfer when we are not at home exclusively.We get the shortest version with two hole at each end. Which works the best for us.Pro:The end have a little tile make it a bit easier to slide under his butt.The material is smooth is you put a layer of cloths for transfer.The shortest one fit in a big check in suitcase and the length is not wider than a wheelchair so I can hand the board behind his wheelchair. So it is very portable for travel.Material is strong, does not feel like it will bent and that gives me a peace of mind when transferring.ConIf transfer on bare skin, the material can drag the skin especially if the skin is wet. But I guess thatâs the same problem for all board. Not just this board.Get dent at spot that touch other hard metal very easy compare to plastic board. But we abuse the board on hard surfaces a lot. So I cannot complain too too much.
