Sports Research Whey Protein powder very highly recommended
As another reviewer noted, mixes easily with water without clumping. I appreciate the added amino acids, including L-Leucine which decreases appetite, potassium, iron, calcium and Vit D3. The Dutch Chocolate flavor is delicious. I like the sturdy packaging that eliminates the problem of disposing heavy duty gallon size plastic jars in which other protein products I’ve tried are shipped. This gluten free product has no carageenan seaweed thickener/emulsifier/preservative that irritates my digestive tract. 60 scoops per bag. I’m blending 1 scoop with 12 oz water, 2 T whipping cream, and 4 ice cubes. 16 fats, 4 net carbs, 25 prot. An affordable, easily stored, long-lived addition to food storage supplies.

Good stuff.
Love this stuff. A little expensive, but worth it for me. I’ve gone through multiple big bags, and enjoy this flavor and the nutritional benefits. Give it a shot.

Very rich (sweet) flavor in a large scoop; mixes well and Informed Sport tested
This is the first time Iâve tried this powder as Iâve been looking for one I like at a reasonable cost with good protein:calorie ratio. With protein being about 4cal/g, that means this is around 67% calories from protein per scoop (100/150). Much of the extra calories come from the added MCTs since fats are close to 9cal/g, but in the limited research Iâve read, the benefits of MCTs are unclear. That said, this powder is DEFINITELY rich chocolateâit mixes thick in milk (which I then pour coffee into), almost like a shake, and is about as sweet as hot chocolate made by dissolving a chocolate bar instead of using powdered mix. The flavor is good, but many will definitely find it too sweet. I use a handheld milk frother to mix mine and very rarely have any clumps unless the whole scoop dives in at one time: it is a LARGE scoop at 106cc and even my frother struggles to mix it all at once. Iâve included a comparison pic to Rival Wheyâs scoop (67cc) and Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolateâs scoop (70cc) for reference.I really like the fact that this brand is transparent about being third party-tested through the Informed Sport process and it is displayed prominently on the packaging. Not every company does this step so it gives peace of mind that what is on the label is in the product: so many companies skip the is step because of costs, or if they do test, theyâre secretive about who does the testing, what they test for, and what the results are and that makes me wonder if the contents actually match whatâs on the label (studies have shown that some powders contain less than HALF of the claimed protein amounts). Thatâs not the case here, so even if this isnât the BEST protein, the cost is reasonable (~$1 per serving when I bought it) and I definitely feel like I can trust what is in it. Honestly, the testing is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 3, because it was a little bit too sweet for me (though perfectly drinkable) and the MCTs probably contributed to the âbubble gut belchesâ I experienced for about 10 minutes after drinking it if I wasnât drinking it in my coffee throughout the morning.I may buy it again in the future, but for now Iâm sticking to isolates with better than 80% of their calories coming from protein.

Protein w/ Hair Growth Benefit! – 2024
OBSERVATION: I purchased his product before while on my hair growth journey. I did not intend to use it for hair growth since I was using it for my workout routine. After finishing my previous bag, I want to explain why I’m repurchasing this.PROS:- This bag LASTS; as someone who takes protein shakes occasionally, I love this large unit with a long expiration date, so it doesn’t feel like it will go to waste (try to purchase during SALES).- No stomach aches with an excellent taste! I dislike the “protein” taste of protein powders, and the chocolate flavor tastes like chocolate milk when I mix it with my vanilla almond milk.- Hair growth???? I grew my hair like crazy! I’ve been taking monthly hair growth pictures and checking hair length for my 4c hair journey, and after consistently doing this for a month, my hair was strong and grew longer than in previous months! Amino acids create the structure of strong and healthy hair.CONS:- The only con is the price. Most protein powders are expensive but do not taste right or are in small quantities.OVERALL: I am very picky about protein powders, so I am so happy that I found this product!

Test is best
Anca Iordache –
I was excited about this but then it was so sweet I couldnât handle it. I tried it simply with water and also with yogurt ⦠way to sweet for me and I know that the sweetener in this will eliminate the benefits of protein.
MapleSyrup –
Shake it with milk. Tastes like a real hot chocolate. Insanely good.

Only con is a very large scoop per serving. I like this protein powder and has added Leucine and Vitamin D3.
