Helpful couch stand assist
This couch stand assist is a game-changer for mobility support. It was easy to set up. The adjustable height and sturdy grab bar make standing up from the sofa much easier. It feels solid and supports up to 350 lbs. This is great aid for comfort and independence.

Works Well
I got this for my elderly father who is having some mobility issues. He spends a lot of time in his office chair at his desk, and has fallen getting out of the chair before. So I got this to go at the end of his desk. Luckily his desk is old and heavy and provides good support. He is 5â9â and 300+lbs. The handle is high enough for his taller frame and is sturdy enough for his body weight. It gives him some extra grip, stability and maneuverability when leaving his chair. The base seems a little thin for me and I do worry the bar may snap loose from the base, so I took a star off for that. Overall weâre happy with this and would buy again. Good value for price.

Not for me
I am reviewing: Stand Assist Aid for Elderly, Chair Couch Lift Devices for Seniors Adults, Standing Assistive Aids with Safety Handle & Cup Holder for Disabled, Handicap with Limited Mobility, Hold Up to 350LBSThis is useless to me. The base is super lightweight. It goes under my couch in the center or at the end, but neither position provides any secure hold. The handle is high at the lowest level. The handle has a choice of two positions, both are offset, which is not the problem, but not offset in a direction that is good for use. The bolt that holds the handle at level scratches my couch. I can turn the entire base, but there is no good way that keeps it from damaging the couch in some way. The item is made of a decent quality material, just not heavy enough to be of use to me. It was very easy to assemble, but not easy to use. It wobbles and clangs and does not provide any secure assistance.

Great Concept, Decent Stability â Could Use a Longer Base
The idea behind this mobility brace is excellentâit definitely helps with getting in and out of a sofa or recliner. However, itâs worth noting that the brace in the product photo appears to be under a narrower piece of furniture than a standard American sofa or a Barcalounger recliner. In our setup, only the front portion of the recliner covers the brace, which could lead to some instability, especially with lighter furniture. In our case, the front of the Barcalounger is heavy enough to hold the brace in place, but it doesn’t take much effort to shift it. A slightly longer base or an adjustable length option would greatly improve overall stability and ease of use. That said, the person we bought this for is happy with it and feels the stability is sufficient for now. I’m giving it 4 stars, deducting one for the short base design. With a few tweaks, this could be a near-perfect mobility aid.

Easy to assemble
I give this product 5 stars. It was super easy to assemble. Fits nicely under his recliner chair. I recommend.

Solid and stable. fits in places the usual ladder-style does not.
Uniquely stable with the plate that fits under the chair legs, holding it in place. The ladder-style aids tend to move around and sometimes slip if the pressure isn’t right over the center. Also, small than the ladder-type so it fits better near a chair or couch without a lot of room around it.
