Give it time to warm up, and don’t look directly at it, and it should work great.
At first, it didn’t seem like the product was working like it was supposed to. The first two times, it only stayed on half the length of time that it said it was supposed to. When I set it to go for 90 minutes, it stayed on for just 45 minutes, and when I set it to go for 60 minutes, it only stayed on for 30 minutes. But then, when I charged it, completely, a second time, it ran the length of time that I set it for – 90 minutes. It seems as if maybe the product needs a chance to warm up, and then it works the way it’s supposed to.I still haven’t noticed any change in my mood, but it’s early. This is just the second day that I’m using it. So we’ll see. Hopefully I will start feeling better soon. I suppose I will need to do some other things to improve my mood also, but I’m hoping that this will help.Aside from that, this seems to be an excellent product. It’s small, but very bright. One thing to keep in mind is that you don’t want to look directly at it, or it can hurt your eyes. It does mention this in the instructions, but definitely keep this in mind.

Happy light with no cord, so truly portable!
I finally found a happy light without a cord! It’s smaller than I realized, but it is very handy and does the job. Perfect for me. Has brightness options and a timer. Easy to handle.

Really helps wake me up
This is a really great lamp. Where I live it is often overcast in the morning, so you canât really get any sun. I bought this lamp hoping the light would wake me up a bit. It seems to have done just that. I used it for 30 minutes this morningTechnically itâs just perfect: it is rechargeable. It comes with the USB cord and the plug that goes into the wall. And for a very reasonable price.And I tested the fact that itâs supposed to be rechargeable and it does hold a charge.Iâm very pleased.

Stopped working
This was a nice light . it was bright, timer worked everything was fine for two weeks then it just stopped working. Returning it means me traveling an hour to get to a ups store , so this is just a disappointment and general pain. No I would not recommend this particular brand.

Like portability and fact that this is rechargeable – even though it’s small I figured that I could put it on my lap to face me directly and take advantage of the higher Lux light that is advertised. However I should have paid more attention -because it is actually 10,000 even though the title says 15,000. There are three settings in the maximum is 10,000, and now I see in the product photos it shows. It is generally recommended a the bigger size will give you more results, but I thought this would do because of the power. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it or not. It certainly is convenient and doesn’t take a lot of room on my nightstand which I like very much. For $15 more, I could get model that is larger and more powerful.

The light intensity was great and just what I needed. I only need it for about 20-30 minutes per morning. The batteries that are integrated into the device (and as far as I can tell are not replaceable) appear to be very poor quality. Purchased this 13 months ago. Initially, the battery charge would last for many days of use before needing a recharge, but within a month the batteries (after a full charge) lasted for shorter and shorter periods of time. Eventually had to recharge every day just to get 20-30 minutes out of them in the morning. Now, the device will not work at all on battery. Even using the light plugged in, the light keeps turning off after about 30 seconds – basically making it useless. Since it appears we cannot rely on the manufacturers to use half decent batteries I regret not getting a cheaper plug in model (without batteries) – because I bet a plug in model would still be working. Paying $49.99 for device that started to decay right away and failed completely after 13 months is a waste of money.
