1/18/25 First impressions. This brace fits great! I recently dislocated my knee and suffered a torn meniscus and mcl, and a fractured patella (to give comparison for what yall may be looking for). The adjustment straps are in great positions to get the comfort, compression, and support you want in the areas you need. I’m a bigger guy, 6″1 320ish and I have zero problems with the fit. Because of the way it’s made and the position of the straps it stays secure and the edges don’t roll (my fellow bigger people know what I’m talking about lol). This is first impressions, over time if I have any issues or concerns I will update my rating and comment.

Excellent brace
After injuring my knee I needed a brace until I could be seen by my doctor. I found a slip on hinged brace by another company which worked at home but wouldnât work when I had to head to the office (it wouldnât fit over or under clothes). That sent me in search of a wraparound brace. This brace for the bill perfectly. The sizing measurements were on point. As it turns out I needed patella support which this brace provides. I tried braces which wrap to the front but they donât provide good patella support. This brace has good adjustment with Velcro straps across the top and bottom as well as front and back. The only downside is Iâve had a few strings from stitching that Iâve had to trim.Iâve been wearing the brace for several weeks and it continues to hold up well and provides the support my knee needs.

Nice brace
I bought this after tearing my calf muscle in the hope it was more comfortable than the one the dr gave me. Itâs so comfortable, has many options for adjusting to fit just right. The hinges are on the outside so they arenât digging into your leg. The open back design allows for your knee to bend easily. On the inside there are even padding for where the hinders sit. I read tons of reviews for different products like this. Iâm so glad I went with this one. The only thing I could recommend is if you are at the top measurement would be to order the next size up.

Too small
My measurements fell between Medium and Large. The post said to order the smaller of the two for best compression but this thing doesn’t fit at all. SO, if you’re measurements fall between like mine does, do yourself a favor and order the bigger one and save the hassle. I’ll update after finally getting the right size.

FIT MATTERS
Let’s be honest, not all knee problems are the same. Some of us are looking for stability, others for comfort. Looking at all the braces on the market can be confusing to say the least. This brace is not only comfortable and gives you stability, but it’s affordable ! I’ve been wearing knee braces for 40 years, and needless to say I’ve been through quite a few. TIMTAKBO has me impressed to the point where I had to share my thoughts. This brace has the ability to be adjusted to be comfortable when you need it most, like when it swells up from over doing it. I not only have (restless leg syndrome) but when over doing it, sometimes my knee swells to the point where my old brace won’t even fit over my knee cap. The Velcro on this brace can be adjusted to allow a better fit on those days. The material used is ALWAYS comfortable, and the straps can be adjusted at any time. The hinged metal braces on each side are well padded, and I barely notice that they are even there, until I bump into something. Also can be removed if not needed. The MOST important thing is the FIT ! PLEASE use the SIZE CHART for the correct FIT. It doesn’t matter how much a product cost or what material is used ….. IF it doesn’t fit properly to start ! P.S. I do like this brace, but has room for improvement
Update:I have to update the review below after 3 months of use. The support I got from the company was VERY good. They tried to make me happy and address some of the issues I was having with this brace. As comfortable as this brace is, it isn’t holding up under use. I have 2 pairs, total of 4 of these, 2 of them are no longer usable because the “D-Ring” attachment has ripped away from the brace. The remaining D-Rings rotate after just a few minutes of use, sometimes even as I tighten the straps. Speaking of the straps, after just a couple of times through the washer, they are frayed with threads coming out of the straps. If you are using these for less active reasons, they might be good for you, but if you plan on using them for anything where you have to move a lot, I’m playing tennis and pickleball with them, I would look elsewhere.Original:I do like this brace, it fits well, moves well and gives me the support I’m looking for. It feels pretty good, but I highly recommend a sleeve to put between skin and brace, it can rub and itch while working out.Improvements I’d like to see: The D-rings that hold the straps, they seem sturdy enough, but the move around, so after a little use, they will turn sideways and now the straps are loose. Easy enough turn back right or tighten straps, but would be nice if you didn’t have too. Also, would love to see a left/right specific brace. When on the straps all pull to the same side, so I find that when the ends on on the inside of the leg, they do tend to get pulled off a bit. Hasn’t been a big issue yet, but if the strap ends were always on the outside, I think it would be better.

Becareful of the sizing
I have worn this brace every day since it arrived. Every brace I have every worn was an XL or L/XL. I ordered the large. It’s to big and I have now realized the sizing is not accurate. At least not for me. Although, it is somehow to big, when tightened terribly tight, the stabilization is quite impressive.

Outstanding Knee Brace â A LifesaverI had a bad snowboarding accident that severely injured my right knee. The next morning, I thought it might be getting betterâuntil midday when the pain became unbearable, and by evening, my hip and other leg were hurting too. My knee has arthritis this brace stops my knee from going sideways. Didn’t know till I put it on that was my problem. Worked instantly. I bought the largest size and still think it would fit a bigger person. Money well spent. Thank you Timtakbo.

First order a cheaper one and caused more pain. Decided to pay a little more and ordered this brace and you get what you pay for. World of a difference. A little bulky but does what it’s supposed to. Now limping with more comfort and feels like knee is being supported correctly.

The quality is good and the delivery was fast. I took my measurement of my thigh as per the Amazon ad, but the fit isn’t quite right for me. Although it fits well at the thigh and calf, there is a bit of a bulge at the knee because it’s too big at the knee. I wish there was a velcro strap in the middle, at the knee, so that I could adjust it. It does feel more supportive for my knee, though, and I’m not in as much pain when I walk when I wear the knee brace (I have a meniscal tear).
