Customers say
Customers find the ice pack wrap effective for pain relief, particularly for reducing swelling and helping with conditions like tendonitis and golfers’ elbow. The product is comfortable, with customers noting it’s soft on the skin and can be worn while sleeping, while also being easy to put on and take off. The fit receives positive feedback, especially for the knee version, and customers appreciate its functionality. However, customers disagree on the ice retention, with some reporting it stays cold while others say it doesn’t last long. Durability and stickiness are also mixed aspects, with some customers reporting it stays in place during movement while others mention it sliding down the limb.

Love!
I suffer from carpal tunnel, tendinitis, tennis elbow, and fibromyalgia. And if that wasn’t enough, I swell up in my hands & feet during spring summer hot weather. After much research I came upon this brand of hot/cold packs for all injuries. I ordered both the thumb/wrist pack & elbow/knee pack to test out on my right arm. I was pleasantly surprised how well it fit and the quality of hot/cold pack. Arrived on time and fit true to size. I love all the features, especially the 360 cool effect that lasted for roughly 40mins. I did have to let it sit for few minutes after taking out of freezer prior to using cause too cold, instructions said that I might have to too. Pain relief and reduced swelling was noticeable after short amount of time wearing them. Highly Recommend! I love these cold packs!

Comfortable and cool!
I started icing due to swelling around my knees due to inflammation from arthritis. My first ice packs were very malleable and remained cold a long time but they had a single wrap-around strap that connected by a plastic buckle and that buckle always bit into the back of my knees- quite uncomfortable. So I started trying out others without plastic buckles and with double straps. But the the first two types had stiffer square gel packs that created creases when wrapped around my knees. Unlike the other knee ice packs which need to be wrapped around, these TheraICE gels pull on. I am delighted to avoid the hassle of Velcro sticking to the wrong places. Even more important, the soft gel in TheraICE is always pliable. As I mentioned I tried some others that were square pieces and even with soft skin-side material, when tightening them, sharp folds resulted and felt uncomfortable. That doesnât happen with the TheraICE. They pull on smoothly and remain totally flexible. Itâs possible they donât remain cold as long as some others, but they rechill in just a few hours and for me, that works out well. I havenât tried the heat option so canât speak to that, but of 4 different ice packs I have tried, these get my highest rating.

Multi purpose.
I’m giving this 4 stars as a wine bottle cooler, would be 5 if the top was form fitted for the neck of a bottle. It serves that purpose far better. Honestly I’d like to see a video of someone who takes this straight out of the freezer 100% cold and can keep it in their arm for longer than 2 minutes. That could either send you to the hospital or be a very effective form of torture. I wont be returning it because It is a wine bottle cooler and that’s that.

Amazing for your joint icing needs!!!
I bought them for my daughter & she puts it on immediately after her tennis matches & she doesnât have to worry about propping it up or holding an ice pack on her knee or moving it around. It slips on nice & tight to get that full cold all around the knee icing. Itâs not too tight but stays in place if she needs to move around. Itâs helped her pain immensely & you donât have to worry about any ice melting or getting anything wet.

Great for tendinitis
Works great for icing sore elbows and forearms from gardening. Iâve tried them for heat and theyâre okay. They donât retain heat as long as they do cold. Itâs really easy to overheat them as well. I still love the product because I bought them to ice not heat. Heating was an added bonus but no necessary. If someone was primarily looking for heating, Iâd choose something else.

Like the product. Concerned about TSA approval
This quickly relieves flair-ups in my right thigh and knee due to facet joint issues in my L3-L4 region. My only concern is whether or not TSA will permit me on any flights while wearing this. It is not strictly gel, but has the density found in gels that one lets cool in a freezer. Would like to know if it’S TSA approved.

Not as effective as real ice.
Pro: It is easy; it is convenient; it is comfortable; it is mobile; it is well made.Con: It is not ice. Not even close. The cooling effect lasts 15 minutes tops, ten minutes or less if you slide it on right after a workout when your body is heated.I’ve been using this on my knee and if it stayed as cold for twenty minutes as it is for the first minute, this would be a great product. But it doesn’t. I can feel it warming as every subsequent minute ticks by. When I slip it off after twenty minutes, my knee feels sort of cool, but nothing like after a proper icing. My Conclusion: It is not a replacement for serious ice therapy, but it’s a better-than-nothing substitute if ice isn’t available, if you need to move around, or if you need a break from the ice cubes, ice bag, and Ace bandage with a good book routine. That said, I haven’t yet found a freezer/gel product that mimics the therapeutic effect of real ice; so as gel products go, this is the best I’ve found.

Very good item to surround area with cold or hot
We have two and they work great for a cold compress. We bought two because as good as they are, they only retain temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. Having the second one allows for a recommended period of application of cold or hot. I would also issue a caution for using hot. Test the hot with hand before putting this on a leg. It can be very painful if to hot from the microwave.

These work as described. My main situation is that they donât stay cold enough for long enough (for my personal use). So they have advantages and having the wrap around the joint is helpful. Beyond that itâs depending on what and how you need to use the ice pack.

These work good, cold pack gets very cold, lasts about 20-25 mins.
Duramatter –
I read all the reviews before I bought. It has no smell and stays cold for required 20 minutes. (I don’t have a microwave so can’t speak to heat retention). I needed something to travel with and this is light/small enough.Easy to move around in.

El tÃtulo debe decir para rodilla o tobillo y no âpaquete para rodilla y tobilloâ Dolo trae una compresa. Aunque la foto y el tÃtulo dice otra cosa.

I donât generally write reviews but Iâve been pretty please with this knee sleeve. Stays cold for about 20mins and provides just enough compression for my knee. I have osteoarthritis and a torn meniscus and use this nightly. It bring down the swelling better than anything else Iâve tried.
