Customers say
Customers find the thermometer works well for up to 2 years, with accurate temperature readings and easy setup, particularly noting how easily the outdoor unit mounts. The display size receives mixed feedback – while some appreciate that it takes up no space, others find it too small to read from a distance. The readability is positive, with big numbers that are easy to see, and the build quality is good with a solidly made transmitter. Battery life is a concern, with customers reporting that batteries go dead after 2-3 months. Value for money also gets mixed reviews, with some finding it good value while others consider it a waste of time and money.

Very well thought out unit
When my 30 year old Radio Shack indoor/ outdoor unit finely died, and could not be resuscitated , I went to Amazon for an upgrade. After 1 unsuitable try , I found this truly 1st class replacement . It is impressive right out of the box, popped in the included batteries ,and the large easy to read numbers came up. At 3/4 of an inch tall and equally wide, the boldly executed numerals are “no strain” clear at a distance of 9ft. The instructions for the sending unit are simple and concise, and installed on the existing mounting screw. When checked against a Fluke IR thermometer , I found this unit to be accurate to within a fraction of a degree,

Always good to know
Here in the Lowcountry at the beach, it’s always good to have a sense of the outdoor temp. Helps figure out how many layers to wear. The ThermoPro is small & unobtrusive. Does its job well. I only wish the indoor reading device came with a small metal disc to complement the magnet on the back. Rather use a little adhesive than put a nail in the wall. Works on the refrigerator though. Recommended.

Good Range on Sensor
We purchased this unit to monitor a well house in a farm setting, and the well pump house is concrete block and approx. 250 feet away from the house, where the display unit is found. The sensor worked as described and now allows us the capability to monitor the temperature easily when winter weather gets down below freezing. The display unit is small (about 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″) however the visual temperatures are large, so what it lacks in size, it makes up in display size. The display unit includes a stand to display the temperature on a table, counter or desk, and a magnet for hanging on the refrigerator. The remote sensor and the display unit are fairly easy to Synch together so they’ll communicate the temperature to the display unit. The directions about how to synch the units are in a small booklet, which isn’t very readable/convenient, however, once the text is enlarged, the directions are straight forward and easy to follow.Overall Satisfied with the unit. and happy it worked in this setting with the range of the sensor being one of the key reasons this item was purchased.

Price is right for Quality item
Wow, for the money – this little thing is spot on! We needed to adjust our freezer temp with a new chest freezer and we didn’t know how low to go. This is wonderful – works great!

Very small display, difficult to read at a glance
After another brand failed and was replaced within a year and then failed in six months I decided to try this particular brand. They work the same, which is an outside thermometer that is read by Wi-Fi within the house, which also displays in the house temperature.I use this to monitor temperature in my aviary so that my birds can go out whatâs the weather exceeds 45°.So far, Iâm seeing accurate temperature display.I have regular mercury thermometer in several locations around the yard and this remote keeps up with accuracy.Pro: the device is easy to set up.Pairs quickly. The in-house monitor has a nice flip up stand so you can place it on any counter table corner, etc..Outside piece can easily be mounted with a piece of wire or possibly more securely with a zip tie.Con: I was very surprised at how small the in-house base monitoring piece is. My previous models could be seen from across the room yet not be obtrusive. This model is quite small.Back lighting is nonexistent. You have to pick the piece up and hold it under the lamp to read. There is a battery needs replacing notice for both the outside and inside levels. Great to have , unfortunatelyIâve already had to replace the battery.Typical button battery, that I would expect it to last a year.Old possibly sat on a shelf for a while before being sent out?Not a dealbreaker it does as it says itâs supposed to do, but I would not necessarily buy this particular model again because of the size and without the back lighting, having to actually pick it up to see it clearly in the evenings or without a lot of direct light makes it inconvenient.

This is such a great idea for monitoring outside temps without going outside yourself
I bought this to keep an eye out for the temperature in my well house primarily when there’s a threat of freezing. I don’t want to keep a heat lamp going when it doesn’t need to be on. By monitoring the temperature in the well house, I can go and turn one the heat lamp when it shows 35 degrees. I’ve had it awhile because I wanted to wait to see if it worked like I wanted and if it would last. I’m pleased to say that it works just as I hoped it would. Easy to recommend.

Small but did the job!
This small temperature transmitter and receiver worked great for keeping us informed on the temperature in our greenhouse this past winter. We have it placed in our master bath which is why we wanted a small receiver. And it met the need. The transmitter frequency did not interfere with two other receivers from two different known manufacturers.

Accurate, easy to read.
This remote thermometer works well. The display on the receiver is very easy to read, and the transmitter is very solidly made. It should be installed out of direct weather if at all possible. The included instruction manual made setup fairly easy, but the included batteries were completely discharged. We had some triple AAAs handy in any case, and everything seems to work well. The price is very good for this level of device. It transmits and receives from our porch to inside with no issues at all.
