My old tire inflator that had to be plugged into the cigarette lighter bit the bullet. In shopping to buy a replacement, I saw some battery powered inflators, prices varied, but this one while priced less, had all the features of the others. There are a lot of pluses about this unit. Some people say the air hose is too short; not if you rotate the tire so the valve is at or near the bottom, close to the ground. I love that you pre-set the psi you want, it pumps to that psi and shuts off automatically. I’ve pumped up my Subaru Outback tires, utility trailer tires, pop-up camper tires (both trailers needed 50 psi) and my mountain-bike tires. All no problem. When I used the pre-set to so some trailer tires it only went to 50 psi, the ad says it’ll go to 150 psi. It will do cars, motorcycles, bikes, balls, air mattresses, etc. You set it for the mode or type of tire or inflatable you are going to inflate, but there is also a “Custom” setting, I suppose that is where you can go over 50 psi. I haven’t tried it yet, but I hope it will go over 50 psi as most bikes say 60 psi max. Of course it may not be as fast as a plug-in compressor, but is ‘speed’ really THAT important? But given the fact this is so portable, doesn’t require a plug-in power source, although you can also do so, the battery lasts a long time & recharges quickly; it can be used as a power source to recharge other devices via the included USB cable, has a flashlight, strobe light & flashing light, compact size & additional adapters, this inflator is powerful and worth every penny! Having used it, I’m very happy with it.

Incredible device
This is an incredible device to keep in your car! It’s important to keep your tires filled up for gas mileage, even more so for electric vehicles. I own an air compressor, but there’s a few steps to get it off the shelf and set it up. Which isn’t bad, but sometimes I need to fill up only one tire. That’s where this thing comes in handy and it’s super simple to use. Just clap the tire inflator on your tire, turn on the device, set the desired PSI and then click power to start it. It even displays the current PSI and auto stops after it reaches what you set the PSI to. Obviously this thing makes noise but it’s a lot less noise than a standard pancake air compressor.It comes with a small bag that holds all the nozzles and instructions. I am unsure how long the battery lasts but it works for filling up all four tires without running out so in my mind it lasts long enough! It does come with a car adapter so even if you forget to charge the battery, you can always plug it into your car and fill up your tires.This IS slower than using a traditional air compressor, but it’s still pretty quick. I’ve never been in a situation where I needed to air something up as fast as possible so it doesn’t even matter in the end considering the convenience of the device. As far as filling up other things like pool floats or basketballs, etc: you can do it but honestly I found it easier to use hand pumps for anything that doesn’t have a max PSI listed.Highly recommended, and will probably be ordering a second one for the other vehicle.
