Once upon a time in a land far, far away, children were taught how to use a compass AND how to read maps. This is an attractive compass that does not come with instructions. Perhaps I have directional dyslexia, but I could not tell if the red or white arrow referenced the direction I was in (as I turned clockwise like a slow robot doing the two-step).ð Like many tools of this caliber, it takes a talented left-brain person to discern. That said, it would make a nice gift and I am happy with the purchase. After all, I’m sharp enough to figure it out, or to ask someone who can.ð
