    Portable and easy to use
This portable pedaler is quiet if you pedal smoothly, and great for moving joints and improving circulation. Not intended for strenuous workouts. Fast and easy assembly (<1 min). The kit we received included a sticky mat and a strap for securing to a chair. So far, neither have been needed to keep it in place on a smooth concrete floor. Stirrups are semi-adjustable or could be removed if you have grippy shoes to help keep your feet on the pedals. Tension can be adjusted with a screw knob and set with a locknut. No tools required, but the instructions indicate the product will need occasional lubrication. Tip: Read the full product description and dimensions before you buy.

Good Post Knee Surgery PT Warm-Up
This compact pedal exerciser works great for my purpose, which is to get my legs moving as a warm-up for my home physical therapy exercises after knee replacement surgery. A few minutes of simple cycling will help me have less pain as I exercise, or even as I go through a routine day.I like the fact that it’s compact and foldable and comes fully assembled. I just pulled it out of the box and unfolded it, and set it on the carpet, just to the side of the kitchen table (not under it), so my knees could rise as high as they needed to without banging into the underside of the table. It’s on loop berber-style carpet and doesn’t move around. Weeks later, I’m still using it.Some reviewers don’t like the pedal straps, but they haven’t been a problem for me. I just slip my feet in and pedal away – there’s plenty of clearance between the top of my shoes and the pedal straps, and it hasn’t bothered me at all. Sometimes I wear shoes and sometimes big fuzzy slippers, and the pedal straps accommodate either just fine. I don’t care about keeping score, so I don’t use the electronic display. The device description was honest when it noted “Not for strenuous exercise or workout.” If you want a heavy duty device or a real resistance exerciser, this is not the one for you. You’ll need to spend more money. Although this device has a tension knob to adjust resistance, it adds just a little resistance, not enough for building muscle. The real benefit for me is the movement itself, to move the joints.I’m glad I got this device. It’s small enough that I can keep it out for now without hogging much floor space, and if I want to put it away for awhile, it folds compactly and won’t require enormous storage space.I’m giving it 5 stars NOT because it’s the best pedal exerciser out there, but because it works, and is a great VALUE for people like me, who want a lightweight, compact, foldable, pre-assembled device. It’s hard to deliver something reasonably well-designed and well put together at a low price point, without going so low in quality that the device doesn’t work, or falls apart after a few uses. This hit the value spot for me.

    Simple and Effective
I got this moreso for times when I’m sitting watching TV. Personally I find exercising while I’m trying to work to be distracting. Also it’s too high and my knees come up too high while using it, so it wouldn’t work as an under desk machine for me.That said it’s great for when I’m just sitting in front of the TV. I can mindlessly pedal while I’m mindlessly watching TV. I have a minor circulation issue in my legs following surgery I had a few years back. So it’s nice to just keep my legs moving and make sure my circulation stays circulating. So far it’s quite sturdy when used correctly like don’t stand on it or whatever, and it’s very quiet. The appearance isn’t great but it you know it’s fine it’s a little exercise machine. My caveats: I do wish that I could fold it and put it away easily the way it was described to me. There is a Clock of some nature with various readings/ settings on it that I have no idea exactly what that is or what it’s telling me (the one clear thing you can read is how long you have been on the machine). And it will slip and slide on smooth floors. I got a small yoga mat for it to keep it from moving around. Other than those three things I’m pretty happy with it particularly given the price point. It does what I wanted it to do. 👍🏾

    Cheaply made; Not the best
Was excited to receive this item. Easy to put together, easy to use, light weight, easy to move.Rating for use:Arms = 4.0Legs = 2.0Construction = 1Using the Pedal Exerciser with my hands/arms worked great. The unit was steady and the movement flowed. And with the display set to toggle between the different modes, it worked well to allow me to monitor my progress. (Though calories burnt can’t be accurate. Isn’t that based on a person’s weight and metabolism, and not the number of times the pedals go round?)Using the Exerciser with my feet/legs was not so great. The unit hopped about and the movement was jerky. Partly this was my mistake. I bought it with hopes of an easy workout. But this unit is not for aerobics or strength building. My legs are too strong for the cheap construction. As to the cheap construction, the timer and especially the pedal straps are problematic. The timer is extremely flimsy and rattles when pedaling. The pedal straps are just the opposite. The fit is so tight that it took all my strength to pry off one side of the pins that keep it in place. And of course, one of the pins snapped off.If you’re in need of light exercise due to a medical condition or injury, this product will probably work fine for you. But if you’re an older person (as I am) looking for an opportunity to add some healthy movement into your life, then I can’t honestly recommend it to you.
