Perfect desk lamp
I have heard of the verilux name brand and was excited that they made a desk lamp. I like the adjustable brightness with a touch of your finger. The goose neck is flexible and can be moved to any angle. The light is great for computer work or reading. It doesn’t take much room on my desk. It’s sutrdy and won’t slip off the desk.

Great light for doing puzzles or coloring books on my island
The light was a bit shorter in neck height than expected for lighting coverage, but you can raise the tones and brightness of lighting up to daylight, so this solves the problem unless you’re trying to light a much larger surface area. Simple to pull out of package, plug in, and use immediately. I like the white lamp, as it blend in almost disappearing from the area i.e. kitchen, island, and room. I would buy this lamp again.

Great desk lamp
Varilex desk lamps have helped me see what I’m doing for over 10 years. It’s well made, sturdy and adjustable. Great light for reading back and forth from paperwork to computer. A light tap turns it on and the light level adjusts with a gradient switch.

I’m very happy with this. It has easy to use touch controls, with eight brightness settings and three color settings. The only think I’m not sure of is how replaceable the LED light itself is. I hope that when the LED light ceases to function I won’t have to throw the entire lamp away.

I thought I was just replacing the old Verilux lamp that finally stopped working, and I was disappointed to see that the neck attaches in the middle of the long end instead of at the short end like my old one. But hey, this lamp is so much better than the old one, and it turns out that the position of the neck is not a problem. I like that the base is smaller; it turns on very easily by just tapping a dot on the base; the variable and easily adjustable brightness (6 levels) is nice; it has three colour tones, which I only looked at briefly but are easily adjustable, then went back to the one it started at and have not bothered to change it; the light fixture is covered (probably not replaceable); and there is the built-in USB charger, which I have not used. Also, the power cord detaches from the base, maybe useful if it needs to fit through a small opening, as the 2-prong plug is quite large. The neck adjusts up and down; I don’t think it twists.

I am so happy I found this light. I am a cross stitcher and this lamp is perfect for my needs. It is lovely and bright which reduces eye strain and makes it easy to colour match. Since a lot of the patterns I use are PDFs, I love that it has the USB port which allows me to charge my tablet while I am working. Sadly, after about 9 months of use the light started to randomly go off if the power cord was moved. Sometimes it would turn right back on when I touched the power button but other times I could not get it to turn back on at all. I decided to reach out to the company on the off chance that they might be able to help me. What a great experience. I heard back from them within a few days and after a couple of emails back and forth they sent me a replacement lamp. I was impressed by their professionalism and their honest desire to be sure their customers are happy. Thank you Verilux!

Verilux is a long established company that manufactures seasonal and reading type lamps. I placed this one behind my 13-inch laptop and it really does make a difference. It’s high enough to reach over my keyboard so my computer is totally covered. The plug-in cord and transformer are included. There are 8 levels of brightness and 3 types of luminosity, standard traditional light bulb, super bright sunny daylight, and another setting in-between. The controls are touch button and the horizontal lighting edge does not shine in my eyes. Granted, it’s made of plastic, but it functions extremely well for studying, working, and just properly lighting your desk. Five stars.
