    Such a fantastic investment!
I used the video to put it together. Can be done by one person in 45 minutes. I will note that a previous review said it didnt have brakes. That inaccurate. The last step in the video is installation of the brakes. Im so glad i watched the instructional video. The brakes are definitely a game changer. On the second use, he completely understood the concept and runs with encouragement. Since there is no motor and is 100% dog powered I feel very comfortable that he can rest when he wants and run when he wants. Im not forcing him to do anything. I just wish I would have invested in one years ago for my two older dogs when they were in their prime. We will get so much use out this dog tread.

    Perfect for High Energy Dogs
Don’t let the lack of reviews discourage you. I got it when there was one review and I was nervous about thst. Now that it’s here, I’m super happy with this purchase. But know, it is big and takes up some room, so make sure you have a good spot for it as it does take up about 6ft by 2ft of space with about 4ft of hight.First, I’m going to say the one thing I dislike. The instructions were terrible. There was 6 small pictures with tiny tiny numbers telling you what to assemble. This is the only reason I took a star off. While the paper instructions were bad, it was very easy to put together though with some comon sense thinking. By myself as a 5’3 woman, i was able to assemble it on my own in less than an hour.Outside of that, I love everything about it. The metal is sturdy and I love the wood boards. It even came with a few extra in case one breaks. I’m going to add a little grippy tape to it to help my dog grind his nails down when he runs, and I have a Cerebellar hypoplasia dog (he has back leg motor problems) that wants to use it, but needs more grip to do so.It’s not to loud, just about what you’d expect from a treadmill. My malinois/shepherd mix (in the video) hops on it by himself 5 times a day and gets a really good excersise. They controller how fast or slow it goes. And it is easy for then to slow down without you to stop it. I like that you can lift it for an incline, and there is a way to make the tension tighter so it’s harder to move the boards for a better workout. It functions exactly how you think it would and works perfectly in comparison to some of the more expensive ones.Don’t expect your dog to hop right on. Both shepherd mixes took to it well. We are training our boxer. Some dogs understand the concept right away, so prepare for a lot of treats and coaxing them in how to do it. Give it some time before giving up. This is a great tool for people like me that love my high energy dogs, but can’t always give them the excersise they need. This has saved our malinois. He was becoming destructive out of lack of running, and now he’s back to our sweet and loving boy.

    Great product for your dog
There are a couple of issues that could use some improvements.Issue #1: The height adjustment is not that durable. For some this could be a problem as they could want an error free product. For me, every time my dog paced forward and every ‘stomp’, his weight would add pressure to the height adjustment and it would just lower itself. My dog weight is a less than 70lbs and it is described as being able to handle over 300lbs so I don’t have an oversized/heavy dog. I was able to tinker with the affected area by adding a solid flat washer and/adding some blocks to give it a desired slop.Issue #2: the logo plate edge is sharp. Accidents can happen. You will likely gripe the area by mistake. Or have a toddler/child that likes to touch stuff. Or even have an energetic/hyper dog. My point, the edge facing inward does not have any bumpers and it can give someone a nasty cut. My fix was to simply remove the logo plate. There is a couple fixes I can think off that the company can do. Add a bumper to the exposed edge OR add a bar to the frame in which the edge of the plate lays on the frame.Issue #3: This is a bit more technical, the instructions are pretty barebones, the final step is probably the most confusing. But if you completed the previous steps, you should have an idea on what it is trying to say – I wouldn’t say that it terrible as I seen worse but it’s not that good. Now I read in another review in which the user said that there was a missing piece. I too had a missing piece but mine was more simple as it was a missing one of the chains and I received 2 similar chains. My missing chain was handled and fixed by Amazon – though I do think they could have handled it better by contacting the company and have them shipped the missing piece. But that is between them and it served me well. Now I’m not sure if it has to do with the chain, but when I first received the product, some of the packaging was damaged (scratched) and some part was loose and really dusty. I don’t think it affected the product but the vibe I got was that it was returned. Now it could have been sitting in a warehouse, if so – they could use someone better to do inventory and inspection so people don’t get duplicate parts or a product is shipped with missing parts. So the good thing, my dog loves it. He will sit next to it waiting for me to command him to jump up and wait for me to strap him in. I got it because my dog is still a puppy, he is a 10 month German shepherd and he just has too much energy. I take him to the park daily, he goes on daily walks and he still has a massive surplus of energy in which he takes it out on his bed, my shoes, etc. This machine helped me by burning all that excess energy of his and keeping his energy stable. The wooden boards are well cut and softened so no splinters on the paws. It’s been almost a month and he’s been using it daily and the machine been holding up well. The pricing was fine and well worth the investment for people that has a dog with a lot of energy or simply cannot go to the park due to the weather, injury or an extremely reactive dog.

    Pairing the remote
We can’t seem to get the remote and the treadmill to recognize each other. The only way to run the treadmill appears to be with the remote. Very frustrating and vevor support is not stellar. Had I known that the treadmill couldn’t be controlled without a remote, I wouldn’t have purchased it. It may be going back.

    Not worth the money
Kinda flimsy and the on top is not high enough for my dog. Wish I could return it😩

    Solid design
My dog loves to stand on this. He doesn’t like the running part yet but loved to jump off it. Two person build if you want to make life easier. Mostly preassembled. Easy to use.

I have two chihuahuas 6 and 7 and a super hyper puppy. Unfortunately my 2 older dogs have become overweight and I’m quite concerned about their health, so I bought this. Where I live it gets between -20 and -40 in the winters, we get high winds of 40 to 100 km winds all throughout the year and then the summer can reach scorching temps of 35-40 degrees. So it’s really a hit and miss when you can get out and get really good exercise here. It’s really not the best place for dogs and I want to move. Though not ideal for everyday exercise and doesn’t duplicate going outdoors to sniff around, this is perfect for those days we can’t get outside for some fresh air. Having said that I’ve yet to train them to use it lol. That’s my fault for not being regular with any training though. It’s by no fault of the treadmill it’s self as it’s nicely quiet and I don’t find it scary at all. The noise didn’t bother them, it was just what is this? And what do I do? My uncle set it up for me and had it together in about 15 minutes, be prepared to have the flat batteries for the remote as it didn’t come with one. It’s very nice and easy to use, it’s a nice size but fits anywhere easily. I think the price was excellent for something that can help my dogs have a more healthy life and longer existence, because that’s the most important thing to me, is their well being and keeping them with me as long as humanly possible. I definitely recommend this. Because it hasn’t been used regularly I can’t say to the longevity of it or if there will be any future issues, but for what I see now it seems perfect. Definitely a good investment for your fur babies.

Great product at a reasonable price, was looking for months for a treadmill and they’re all so expensive, took 20 minutes to put together and dog loves it
