This scent wasn’t for me, but the company did right by me for sure!
I can understand some of the comments about the “feel” of this product but that was actually what was appealing to me. I don’t want a deodorant that glides on super smooth. I feel like this has some grit to it and a natural feel. It came down to the fact that the scent was just not for me.Viking Revolution reached out to me when I posted my review and they made the situation right in my opinion. They stood behind their product and they did right by me, and that is so rare in this day and age. I mentioned to them I really wish they would put a bit more charcoal in the product and release an earthy pine forest scent. This would be a slam dunk and I know I would be ordering it on subscription if that ever happens.My advice is to give them a try and see for yourself, Tobacco wasn’t a scent for me, but some others might be, so I will see where we go from here. I just wanted to say I appreciate them standing on business and getting me right!

Works great, smells great, and lasts!
I love this deodorant. As stated, it smells great. My wife and even little son love it. Application, as some have mentioned, can feel a bit rough. I pretty much have my armpit hair either shaved or very low, so the hair pulling thing doesn’t affect me as much. I rub it in slowly and that works. Some say it doesn’t last, I literally work out for an hour and once I’m done and stop sweating, I can still smell it’s there, all be it not as strong as when it was applied, but it’s there. All in all I really like it so far, and actually keeps me feeling fresh all day. Love that it’s natural and works well. Bought some new shirts, so I guess I’ll put stain resistance to the test eventually and update if need be.

Scent does not last very long at all.
The roll-on/twisty casing that holds the deodorant is very cool. I don’t know why, but it is probably the coolest casing for a deodorant stick that I’ve ever seen and/or used lol. However, the scent does not cover the smell of body odor for long periods of time. At the end of an 8-hour day, you’re not going to smell this deodorant smell. You’re more than likely going to have that typical body odor smell that you would get from a long 8-hour day of work. If you go to the gym in the morning before work and you do not take a shower afterwards; then I would not recommend this deodorant. Overall, I think I will just stick to my Dove deodorant. Yes, Dove may have aluminum in it! But I’ve used my Dove “aluminum containing” deodorant for probably 5-6yrs now. And here I am still, alive and well, writing this here review that you’re now reading.It was nice to try something new because “ALL NATURAL” is the latest trend. Nevertheless, I have used un-natural deodorants and other products for years now. And I am still healthy as a bull. All natural products tend to cast way more than “un-natural” products. So, it would not shock me at all if this whole all-natural movement is just another way to rake in more money for majority of the top-brand companies. But that’s just my personal thought. Use what works for you! And if it isn’t broke, then don’t fix it. And that’s how I feel about me and my Dove deodorant vs this Viking deodorant. Dove works and has worked for me for years. The Viking deodorant smell just wasn’t as strong and long lasting.

I originally tried the Attitude brand when finding a natural deodorant but found the effects didn’t last long and despite following instructions for natural deodorants found it clumpy.I then found this product and pleased with the application with normal results and long lasting scent – up to three days of work. It’s nice to smell the sweet sandalwood rather than the not so sweet effects of non lasting deodorants.

Smells great, applies relatively easy solid container (i hate those paper ones). I think i found my new favorite brand.

First off, let me say: the scent? If rugged sophistication had a smell, it would be Viking Revolution’s Sandalwood Charcoal Deodorant. It’s like being gently embraced by a sandalwood-scented Viking who just stepped out of a forest sauna. 10/10 on the nose.But alas, every Norse god has his flaw, and this one has a couple.1. Application is an extreme sport. If you’re not freshly shaven, applying this to dry underarms is a bold move. Picture tiny, invisible gremlins yanking each individual hair out while shouting, “FOR ODIN!” Smooth application is possible, but only if you’re smoother than a dolphin.2. Charcoal consequences. Maybe I should have connected the dots—charcoal equals black—but I didn’t expect this deodorant to start giving my clothes goth makeovers. White shirts beware: this stick doesn’t discriminate. It’ll turn anything you wear into a fashion crime scene. It’s like a reverse Michael Jackson—everything black or white just ends up… black.Would I buy it again? Honestly, probably. Because it smells that good. But next time, I’ll be applying it like I’m disarming a bomb—and maybe not while wearing white.
