Making Life Easier for My Elderly Mother: A Handy Addition to Our Mini Cooper
I drive a Mini Cooper, which can be quite a challenge for my elderly mother to get in and out of. I decided to give this handle a try to see if it would make things easier for her, and so far, it’s been working like a charm! She still struggles a bit, mainly because she’s a bit hesitant to trust that it will do its job without causing her to fall. But, I’m always there to give her a helping hand just in case. The handle feels super sturdy, is easy to use and fits perfectly in my glove box. It’s been a great addition to our trips!I can’t say for certain if it fits all vehicles, but I’ll update my review later to let you know if it works well with a Chevy Tahoe. That’s another vehicle that can be uncomfortable for seniors to get in and out of due to its height.

Strong and convenient. Plastic coating gives me confidence that I won’t scratch the car.
Works as advertised. The plastic exterior prevents scratching the car paint, which I appreciate. These could really use a hole for putting a loop of cord, so I can hang it from something inside the car for easy access.The non-slip coating on the back is nice for now, but I know that these will eventually turn into a sticky slime (after some years). I would actually prefer one with a simple hard plastic shell instead, or even hard plastic with texture. Otherwise, it is a fine product that works.

These are great, easy to use, and super sturdy. I just had knee replacement surgery and these were a must have to get in and out of the car.

Great little gadget
My daughter just had ACL surgery and needs to get to physical therapy twice a week. I drive a bigger truck and was struggling to get her in the seat to get her to her appointment. Someone suggested trying out one of these and after getting it Iâm glad they did works great and very sturdy, itâs a big help having that extra support to help push herself up into the truck.The reason I gave it four out of five stars is it does wiggle a little which my daughter has gotten use to but the first couple of times she used it she was worried it was going to wiggle enough that she wasnât going to get enough momentum to lift herself up.

Elderly, naw, I’m just short
I can see why this is great for elderly. But it’s also very handy for short people. Easy to hook on. Sturdy material. Not sharp to grab, fits comfortable in my grip. I bought 4 for each vehicle and gave one to my buddy who’s in their 80’s. Great invention. Good price on it too.

Super Helpful Assistive Device
Smart! Sturdy! Super Helpful Assistive Device. I work for a Physical Therapy Clinic and I purchased this after my dad was hospitalized and spent some time in rehab. He is struggling with weakness, balance, and coordination and this makes it so much easier for him to stand up getting out of the car. He doesn’t feel as helpless and doesn’t need us to help him up and out of the car. 10 Stars!

I bought several from Amazon, this Vive is the best in design, although most expensive. It is covered with good plastic that won’t scratch the car, its grab handle is the thickest, this gives me a very good grip and contact with my palm. This is a very useful product because I have difficulties bending my legs when getting in and out of my car, I need something at my hip level to hold on to.
