Customers say

Customers find the toilet safety frame well-made and stable, with one mentioning it can hold up to 250 lbs. The product is easy to assemble without special tools and can be relocated to another bathroom. They appreciate its accessibility, helping both handicapped persons and seniors become more independent, and find it particularly useful for rising from the toilet. Great support
Just the unit we needed to help us sit down and stand back up after our surgeries. We were thinking of installing hand holds on the walls to help us get up, but this will work better as it is closer to us than the wall hand holds.

    MEASUREMENT ALERT
I LOVE this toilet assist! We just finished remodeling our master bath, and I decided it was time to ditch the jury-rigged stool I’ve been using to help me get up, which has become a real problem. This Toilet Rail assist has been just shy of perfect from the very beginning starting with the shipping. I clicked buy it now at about 10 pm on Sunday, and it arrived before noon today, Tuesday. Via FedX, which is probably why it was so quick. It was an easy assembly and it works just exactly as I wanted it to. I will not feel unsteady or apprehensive again and that is a great accomplishment. All that being said, we measured our space carefully before ordering. We had 28 ½” so we figured ½” to spare, right? Wrong. There are wing-nut type bolts that hold the piece together (see picture) and the wings at ¾” on each side of the stand, are not included in the 28″ the diagram shows, so those add another 1½” to the width, and we have 28½” from wall to vanity where the toilet sits. No way is 29½” going to fit in 28½” space. But it’s an easy fix. Hit HomeDepot and got flat head bolts the same size and used them to hold the stand together and it fits perfectly. The stand is sturdy and while it isn’t aesthetically pleasing, it’s not horribly ugly, either. The arms are very nicely padded, which is nice when I lean on them to boost me up. All in all, I couldn’t be happier! All that aside, I’d like to address Amazon’s new shipping/delivery procedures. The procedure needs work. A LOT of work. We don’t live in a huge city and I was quite impressed when I saw that Amazon had trucks in the area. I figured it meant faster, more dependable deliveries. NOT. I’ve been so disappointed. I don’t know how their system works, exactly, or I should say, is supposed to work, but it doesn’t. Work, that is. The first issue came with a notification that my address didn’t exist, so the package couldn’t be delivered. You know, the address I’ve used with them for years suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth. Then it was, Package delivered, left on the porch. Well, not MY porch. Don’t know whose, but not here. Then there was the “Customer refused delivery”. At this point, I’d had it. This particular item was photo paper that my photographer husband HAD to have by X date to get a contract fulfilled. No one, NO ONE, rang my doorbell and tried to deliver a package I refused. I chased this problem via chat and then into a phone call, which made my anger more intense for the representative to take at least. This call was made the same day the screw-up happened. I informed the rep that it hadn’t been long enough (I get text alerts for deliveries) for the truck to have left town, which mean the driver could still bring the paper back, and all would be well. It took over an hour to find out that only the shipping dept can contact the drivers, (and reps aren’t allowed to call that dept for explanations) and in reality, the driver’s don’t have Amazon-issued radios or any “official” means of contact. With a further show of rage, sorry but I really was super angry, I found out that the notifications that the drivers are given to use as descriptions of where it was left, or why it wasn’t left, are vague at best and are actually pretty useless. So no one really knows for sure what the reason the package wasn’t left rally was except the driver, and the driver is a deaf-mute with no ability to communicate with home base. SMH. While I applaud Amazon’s desire to be it ALL for us, they weren’t ready for this one and I wish they’d waited until they had all contingencies covered to implement their delivery system.None of this really sours me on Amazon. They will still be my go-to. It’s too easy with them to try to go elsewhere. The entire experience with them is always so positive, even when it’s not, that it’s hard to fault them. I stick with items “Prime” approved, so I get free shipping, and I have one-click buying. Returning items is so easy! Just drop it off at UPS. Don’t even have to re-package it and sometimes they tell me just keep it, even if it isn’t exactly what I wanted, so I don’t even have to take it to UPS. And the minute UPS scans the barcode I’m given, my refund is back in the bank. Amazon is a rock-star-worthy retailer. Once they get their delivery system worked out it will be more awesome than ever. Hoping that comes quickly.

    Sturdy and strong
I like this. It’s wider so I have room to clean myself. The ones that attach to toilet are too cumbersome to monuver around

Assembly is easy, solid unit that supports your weight. It works well, much better than the unit that fits on the toilet. Easy to move for cleaning the floor.
