Customers say
Customers find the hydration pack to be well-built and functional, with adjustable straps that keep it snug against the body. They appreciate its storage capacity, noting it can hold a substantial amount of water and fit a full bladder, while also being lightweight and easy to carry. Customers consider it good value for money and effective for hydration, particularly during long summer hikes. The water retention receives mixed feedback – while some say it keeps water cool throughout rides, others report issues with water leaking out.

Great bag for hiking.
This is a great high quality water pack for hiking. It is easy to assemble and use. It can be difficult to fill the water bladder due to the size of the hole to fill it but itâs nice to have a bigger one in case you wanted to add ice. If the bladder is full, the bag has some extra room but not a lot. But you can clip things into the bag and itâs really comfortable and lightweight for the hikes.

Worked great for a trip to Disney in July!
We bought 3 of these in different colors so the kids could each have their own while spending a few days at Disney. They worked great and were a game changer. I bought them on sale for $28/apiece.A few things I would change would be to widen the bladder opening to make it easier to load ice into it. Also maybe add another pocket to the pack for storage.Weâve only used them on a 2 day trip but I feel theyâve already paid for themselves. Time will tell if the bladders hold up to more use, but the pack feels well made and not cheap.

Pack is great, bladder defective
The pack itself is great, plenty of room for to pack extra stuff. The bladder that came with the bag, though, unfortunately had a nozzle/mouthpiece that was fully sealed shut somehow and unable to be used – we didnât realize this until we were out on our hike so it was inconvenient. Had us questioning our lung strength until we pulled it off the tube and determined it was actually sealed.Thankfully we had also ordered replacement bladders for another pack we already had from another seller that we were able to harvest the mouthpiece from, just sucks that this issue has made one of the bladders we paid for useless. Just make sure your mouthpiece works before you head out, haha!

This is the one!
I purchased two camel packs before this one and both were a huge disappointment. As much as I watched and sanitized my previous camel packs, the water always tasted like a hot plastic bottle left out in the sun. I always dreaded my hikes and avoided them, all because I had a low quality camel pack. This camel pack has renewed my faith in camel packs. I didnât know something of this quality and caliber existed! Reminds me of when I met my boyfriend after dating a load of losers. I walked a land of destitution and hopelessness and then I found the one! He was kind and built like a stallion, letâs just say he can run for miles. Just like this camel pack, it will actually do what you ask of it; and it wonât spring a leak after 5 mins! This camel pack is the one! No losers here. You wonât be disappointed, get it!

Versatile
My son used the whole set briefly. He ended up taking out the bladder and putting it in his 24 hour backpack to lessen his baggage and it still worked perfectly. It’s nice that it can be used either way. He followed the first use instructions and it tasted fine. No plastic or chemical taste. The water flow was smooth. No air bubbles or trouble ag all. Would definitely buy again. It also got to us fast.

No manual, 1.6l real capacity, good bite valve, good whistle
First off, the product came with absolutely no manual or documentation; not even one of those language agnostic picture panels sets to tell you anything at all about the product.Indeed, IIRC, the description did not mention a built-in whistle, and if my curiosity did not bring me to examine the weird shape of the strap clip, I would not have known. So it is a water bladder and bag. What’s there to know? Fill it with water and drink. Simple! Yes, but,â¦1) unlike all other hydration backpacks I have had, one cannot fill this one until the drinking tube is connected.2) although it is allegedly a 2l bladder, there is no obvious way to fill it to 2l, since there is no hold tab for the bladder while one is filling it, so one cannot really fill it beyond the fill opening, (at about the 1.6l mark), to get to the 2l mark well above the fill opening. In essence, it is a 1.6l bladder.3) I have previously bought brushes to clean such bladders and tubes, but the mouthpiece is so complex that it seems impossible to clean, and because there is no instructions on how to clean it, or even on how to safely remove it from the tube, one cannot even clean the tube all the way to the end.4) although it seems easy to adjust the straps, no guidance is given as to the best way to achieve the best fit, so it is entirely trial and error. (Most other systems usually tell you to, âadjust this first in this direction, then adjust that after it that direction, to get the best fitâ).5) yeah, the âpull & squeezeâ system. Did not tell you where to pull. Took me awhile to find it. (It is at the angled elbow, and not at the bite valve).6) I have one of those expanding hangers which keep the bladder fully open for drying. Yep. The allegedly 2l big bladder is just a wee bit small for the hanger to fit inside, so good luck drying it and preventing mold.7) went to the website to download a manual/users guide. Nope. None. Nil. Nada. This is one of those, âyou get what you pay for,â moments when âgood valueâ meets pragmatism, or lack thereof. All in all, good tube routing clips, nice angled bite valve, nice valve cover to keep it sanitary while resting, nice loud whistle, but,⦠you are on your own with everything.
