I am a dental hygienist. Here is my opinion.PRO: I picked up this water flosser for traveling only, due to its compactness. The design is good for travel.CON: The pressure is fair, probably a 5 on a scale of 1-10. For daily oral hygiene routines, a higher pressure would be preferred to effectively access around the gums and in the pockets. The handle is a bit bulky to maneuver around the mouth.For my 10 day travel trip, I would say this device is better then no oral irrigation. Similar to my manual toothbrush will be fine for travels compared to my daily, at home, power toothbrush.

I purchased this because I was noticing gum recission and was concerned for gingivitis. When shopping around the plethora of options, I chose this one due to its portability feature and low cost. Upon opening the package I was immediately impressed. There’s nothing like that pleasing first impression from good packaging. The travel bag was even more impressive. It smelled wonderful like a new car smell. The way light reflected off the textured carrying case was quite impressive. The apparatus itself on first impression seemed complicated with lots of gadgets but despite the bells and whistles it was very intuitive and easy to figure out- I didn’t even need the manual. Simply twist off the bottom cap and replace it with the top cap, which now serves as the water reservoir. The machine has 4 modes: Normal, Soft, Pulse, and Nasal. It comes with 4 flossing tips, 1 gum tip, and 1 nasal tip. I found them all to be very effective. Here’s how I tested it:After a heavy protein meat dinner I had some food in between my teeth. I normally floss after dinner but this time I held the floss and tried the water floss instead and I was able to get all the food out in between my teeth. I flossed with traditional floss right after to see if there were any additional pieces I could dig out and none. The nasal mode was a trip! It was very unpleasant experience with a discomfort borderlining on painful sensation on my upper sinus cavities but that was short lived and I felt amazingly clear afterwards so I think the pain was well worth it. Especially with the threat of COVID-19 which inoculates the nasal membranes, this feature is very important!I’ve been using the traditional thread floss for years! But I definitely feel the water floss is more effective, i feel my mouth is cleaner, and its definitely faster. The only downside is that it’s messier: it’s hard not to get water splashses on my bathroom mirror. No reason to shy away from all its benefits though. Going to get this for my mother as she was asking about my experience with it and I believe she will love it. Highly recommend!

I just received my portable water flosser. I have implants and use a waterpik at home. I needed something when I travel. I love, love, love this travel flosser. I purchased this particular one because it has the case. Iâve enclosed photos how nice and durable the case is, item compacts well for traveling and really cleans your teeth. I will say itâs not as powerful as my waterpik I use daily but it cleaned my teeth well and removed particles around my teeth and gums. I filled with warm water, use the fan tip, dropped a little mouth wash in container and cleaned my teeth. I love the pink color as it matches my travel spin brush that has a similar hard case. First day but I would recommend!

Good but doesnât last
Bought in Aug 2024 and it gave out already. Itâs charged the lights indicating power come on but no water spots out anymore. Loved the pressure and the travel accessibility component but smh unfortunately it doesnât last
