Better than floss
I have never used a water flosser and there is a learning curve. The first time I used it, I read the directions and scanned the QR code and watched a video that shared tips. I thought I had a good understanding. Nope. I managed to spray the mirror and counter, somehow managing to miss the wall. Each time I was determined to get it right and I’d end up accidentally opening my mouth or taking the unit out of my mouth when it’s running out of water without turning it off. It does get better. The Waterpik flosser works better than dental floss. I ate popcorn and used the Waterpik. I then flossed afterwards and found no food particles that were missed. I have a spot between a crown and the tooth behind it and I think it’s called a spacer by my dentist. Everything gets stuck in there, but the Waterpik flosser gets it out. Celery, popcorn, you name it, the Waterpik gets it out. One thing my dentist cautioned me on was to keep it on the lower setting. I have got to the point that I can fill up the reservoir with warm water and am able to do all of my teeth, including the outer and inner side of each one. It’s worth the learning curve and I feel as though my teeth are cleaner. I have used it several times and I have not had to charge it up yet.

Better for travel than for daily use in my opinion.
Does a great job. Caveats: reservoir is small because it is cordless. You have to refill the reservoir (carefully-the filler opening is small) multiple times to flossall your teeth. And, lets face it, you are going to have water ending up all over your hand andthe machine when using it, so expect to wrap it in a dry wash cloth when using it. Otherwise it’s great. May I respectfully recommend you get the larger reservoir, countertop version instead, if you don’t want to deal with USBc recharging or wet hands or refilling.

No rotational wheel for the spray head, but good function overall.
We bought this as a replacement for an earlier model. This one does not have the rotating “wheel” at the top that allowed easy rotation of the spray head. To turn the spray easily, you now must rotate the entire unit–mostly this just takes getting used to it. The switch from a magnetic attached AC charger to a USB charger makes charging easier and the device lighter. It cleans you gum line well, as expected.
