    WOD Nation Resistance Bands
I Love the WOD Nation red and black resistance bands. They’re made of quality material and the resistance is perfect for me, especially the red one. The black resistance band is also very good, but it’s much harder to stretch, so I’ll use it for some other exercises!I enjoy using the red resistance band, because the length is just right for me, I’m 5′-10″, and I don’t have to attach any handles to them. I loop the Bodylactics small anywhere anchor to one end to put my hand through. It works really well for me, and it feels much more comfortable than grabbing on to the rubber.I also ordered the Purple Resistance Band from WOD Nation to assist my pull-ups, because I couldn’t find the one at the gym the last time I went, so I decided to get my own. Only thing my gym bag is starting to get more stuff in it, LOL, because I also purchased the Black Mountain Resistance Bands. I love stretching, it feels good, and I think it’s good for your body when you workout, or anytime for that matter. I got the ones that have clips attached to both ends. Good Stuff, very versatile, good quality, and affordable! Black Mountain Rocks!I hope this review is helpful. I recommend purchasing the resistance bands from WOD Nation, they’re speed jump rope is good too, and their prices are very much affordable!Thankyou WOD Nation. Aloha!🌴🏄🏼

    Excellent product, possible problem….
A positive review, with one questionable issue (at bottom)My 15yo daughter could not do a single pullup. She was too weak to do negatives, so I bought a WOD Red and Black bands. We wrapped them around the pull-up bar and back through themselves, so she can put her foot through them and help her get her chin over the bar. With one end wrapped around the bar and a foot on the band, it is easy to stretch these bands over 9’ in length. My kids were scared of them, but not as much after I showed them they did not break with me.I highly encourage you to buy a complete set. Spend the money, and take advantage of the 15% discount WOD offers. I tried to be smart, and only bought the RED (10-35#) and BLACK (30-60#), thinking that 95# would be enough. It isn’t. Using both the Red and Black bands simultaneously, my daughter still cannot complete a single pull-up.These bands are not rubber, but some sort of polymer.PROBLEM: I used the black band the day it arrived, and it was perfect. The next morning, I found it broken in two (two breaks) with both pieces on the floor. It looked like it snapped, with multiple shark tooth serrations on the corners near the break. Perhaps my young boys snapped it like a rubber band (they deny it), but the net result is it was defective. I emailed WOD Nation and they sent a replacement, free of charge, which has performed flawlessly.Since we don’t have enough ‘band’ yet, I tied the larger broken piece of black band together and we are using that as an additional assistance. It works, but is clearly defective, either from a snap, or chemically, as additional shark teeth have been forming. If you get a bad one, contact WOD Nation for a free replacement. Does anyone know whether this is an OE or Manufacturing defect?Still 5 stars. Daughter can barely do 5 pullups, with all three bands, and getting stronger. She also wears a life jacket (padding) and uses both the Red and Black bands while doing push-ups. Exercise is awesome.

    Great Mobility/Warm up Tool
Using this for band walks and deadlift warm up, so far I really like how well it performs, I got the lightest weight (red) as I need it for stretching and form checking, in terms of long term use I am not sure how well it will hold up or if it will wear out with use. Considering it is used for warm up and stretching I don’t anticipate snapping it, however some use these as resistance for their actual workouts so given that purpose I would be cautious. However, if you are using these as warm up aides and not as a primary workout tool (i.e. if you train with barbell/dumbbells) you will probably be fine and buy a new one when it wears out.UPDATE: I liked how well the red band was doing so I bought the black one for added resistance on some movements, seems well built and will likely last a long time with routine use

    Good Price, Great Results.
I bought both the 10lb and 30lb resistance band. I did not need help doing pull ups as I can rep out sets of 15-20 with relative ease. I got these for 2 reasons, first was to assist with pre and post work out stretches. They are great for stretching out legs on leg day (NEVER skip leg day). The 2nd reason was to evolve my pull up into a muscle up. I had tried other ways of performing this exercise, such as using a step to jump each rep to give me a push over the bar. (That did not help me gain the movement necessary for the muscle up.) After using these bands for only 3 days I can now do sets of 5 muscle ups without any band and sets of 10 with them. Getting the muscle movement to go from hanging on the bar to pushing yourself over is difficult but these bands made it easy to learn. I began by using the 10lb resistance band and doing as many as I could and when I tired I would switch to the 30lb and rep out and then do both at the same time to failure. I did this for 2 days (Tues and Thurs). The following Tues I attempted them without any band and got 5. I then went to the 10lb band to failure, then 30lb, then both as before. My only limitation now is slipping on the bar when my palms sweat. These bands are great for anyone needing to boost their pull up/muscle up work.

    Cheap and Fragile
This product is defected. I missed the return window and now stuck with it. I received the band on Jan 7, 2025 and started to use it the following week Jan 13, 2025, By Feb 5th it broke. Didn’t even last 24 days (roughly 35 usages). This product is not worth your money. Spend the extra few dollars on a higher quality. They changed their product and it’s not the same anymore. Would never recommend them again. Keep shopping, a band should last more than 35 usages.

The WOD NATION band is great! I recently received it and the quality of the band is good. It has a wide variety of uses and is a must have item for your exercise routine. I was pleasantly surprised when I received as a bonus videos by WOD Nation’s very own Coach Barry teaching how to use the resistance bands safely and effectively.

I have never been able to do more than 1 pull-up. I decided to give these bands a try to gain more strength and proper form. These bands are great. They only give you “just enough” assistance. I have improved so much in a short time and foresee a future of unassisted pull-ups is getting close. WOD Nation was also very helpful and sent videos to show me how to get the most out of the resistance bands. Would recommend this company to anyone.
