I think it works lol
I’ve had this sitting on my desk for awhile now, because I think it’s so unique and attractive. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. But today, I had a very stressful phone call, that wasn’t going well, and I absent-mindedly picked up the little rake and started pushing it through the sand as I talked. It seemed to help me gather my thoughts lol So yay! lol

Pretty but…
I’ve seen Zen gardens before but never had one on my desk. This is an attractive little set but I find that I cannot fit all the different components at the same time and still have room for actually doing any raking. I assume that you are not supposed to include everything all at once so I do switch out the pieces to change things up. I would prefer to have it be a litte larger or the pieces be a little smaller. I also find it diffiucult to actually rake without spilling sand over the sides so have to go very gently and slowly. I do like the way it looks in my office though.

I love a nice zen garden to bring in some relaxing energy to a space. This kit includes so many cute accessories perfect for setting the vibe. I really like the mini bonsai tree and the Japanese theme throughout. So many cute details!

This zen garden set is clearly very beginner, but it is quite fun! The pieces are definitely not the highest quality, but it does allow for the experience of putting together a zen garden with all its parts.My daughter and I are having fun with it!

Zen Desk Garden Set; Calm Meditation At Work; Would Make A Nice Gift
I ordered this set to put on my desk. I used to have a little rectangular Zen rock garden, but the sand got dumped out during a move, and I think my kids took the rocks, draining any semblance of calm.This little desk set is just what I wanted. It comes with lots of little decorations to fill up your Zen desk rock garden – perhaps too many, for me. But in this case, that’s fine, because you can pick and choose. Don’t want Buddha hanging out in your garden? He won’t mind going in the drawer for a bit. Too many stones? Your kids probably wanted to take them for some reason anyway! The neat thing about having a lot of little doo-dads is that you can pick and choose which ones you want and how you want to place them. I like the tree, and the stones the best. The little candle holder is pretty great too. The rest is pretty neat, but I could take it or leave it.For $40, this seemed pricey to me for a desktop rock garden, but it’s a fairly large set and the quality is good. It would make a nice gift, and it could be an interesting conversation piece to have on any desk.Overall, I’m quite content with this Zen garden desk set. I see it in this moment, accept it, and recommend it!
