everything but the kitchen sink
I was very impressed with how thorough the collection of first aid supplies inside this medical kid was. Not only does it include every possible type of bandage and gauze you could possibly want, but it also has a whistle, a compass, two thermal blankets, scissors, some very long tweezers, and a glow stick! I had gotten this thinking I’d keep it around the house, just in case somebody in my household suffered an injury, but this is the type of medical supply kit that one would expect to find at an annual summer camp filled with kids. Whatever the kids could possibly need, it’s in here! This has a sling for your arm and eye pads and, even if you wind up having to perform CPR, there is a device in this that will help you, and they’ve included a first aid guide booklet. It is easy to transport, since the kit has both a handle on the case and a shoulder strap, plus it is very lightweight. The case, itself, is high quality all the way, from color to comfort. It’s clearly very durable and firm (hard), yet it still has enough give (bend) and a soft outer lining on the outside of the case that prevents it from knocking against your body when being carried, even in a hurry. The pockets inside make it easy to organize everything and still quickly see what’s in each pocket, though there are no zippers on the inner pockets to ensure everything stays in those pockets. That is the one downside, though it might be a plus if you truly do have an emergency and must act fast. My experience is that everything still stays put when this case is closed. This truly exceeded my expectations.

410 Piece Waterproof Hard Shell First Aid Kit, (Red) By Gevoke
I ordered the 410 Piece Emergency Medical Kits (Red) By Gevoke. The hard, zippered clamshell bag is of nice quality and the zipper functions well. There is an optional shoulder/ crossbody strap included. I would have liked to see a reflective triangle or even stripe on the case. There are five storage compartments inside that can be used to subdivide the supplies (somewhat) by possible emergencies. I reorganized the order a little bit but for the most part was pleased with how the bag was initially organized. This kit is well supplied and contains a little bit of almost everything, I have a couple of supplies I will likely add, a quick nose bleed stopper, some duct tape, a couple of zipper bandages. Just a few items I already have that Ive included in self built kits. This seems to be a quality kit that is well outfitted. It would be a great gift to someone headed off to college or a first time home owner. Just so that they can have nearly everything needed all in one handy place.

Good range of items, easy to store
Red and white for easily finding, though a black version is available if you don’t want it to stand out. Sides are soft enough that it can give a little but otherwise firm–it’s neither hard side nor soft side but something in-between. I tested the “waterproof zipper” by emptying out the case, stuffing some paper towels in, and placing it in a utility sink. Then I ran the cold water on it for about 30 seconds and opened it again to see if it resisted that. (See picture of setup so you can judge fairness for yourself). It completely failed, the paper towels were soaked. The zipper is not waterproof, despite what the listing says. It’s not a sieve either. Just don’t leave it in the rain or dump your canoe and you should be ok.I put all of the items out on a table and compared them to a checklist made from a printout of the picture in the listing. All of the items were present. Nothing added, nothing missing. Being uninjured at the moment, I couldn’t truly test the individual items. They look normal, not premium, but not crooked or dried out etc. The range of items makes sense to me in that most things I can think of are in there, particularly a nice selection of self-sticking pad shapes for different situations. There are some tools included. The scissors looks and feels weak, but it actually cuts really well–I folded some junkmail and it went right through it, so I folded it again and it still went right through it in a straight line, so looks were deceiving with this one. The compass did not work. I don’t know why a first aid kit needs a noticeably cheap plastic compass, but it pointed pretty randomly when I moved it around and it stopped in different directions and I know the correct directions here because of gardening. I don’t consider this a big deal because I have no idea how a compass would be used for first aid in a location where you weren’t already carrying a better compass. The tweezers are adequate general-purpose ones–reasonable pressure to grab something and put it on, but not able to really squeeze something like I would want if pulling out some splinters because they just bend at that point, more than the ones I typically use for the splinters I often get from woodworking. However, there is a pack of “splinter probes”–I never used one so I can’t fairly judge, but it looks interesting and I’m going to try it next time.Something I would have liked to see come with the kit is a half-size pen so that you can write notes on the instructions if you have to. There is enough extra space inside the case to add a few other things that might be useful but which I wouldn’t want to show up randomly in a kit, like medicine tablets. You should know that all of the items are in relatively small amounts, but obviously, it is meant to be an emergency kit with some of everything. So if you find that you use something frequently, you can also use the extra space to just add a whole “real” package of that.Overall, I give this 4 stars. I like the portability and range of items. Incorrect information about water resistance may trouble some depending on the usage scenario.

Great Quality!
The Gevoke 410 Piece Waterproof Hard Shell First Aid Kit is top notch! The case is super sturdy and well organized with different compartments, and the best part is the shoulder strap! I have a first aid kit in each car and none of the others have this. It is perfect if you play sports and like to have a first aid kit on the field…just carry it like a purse! It contains practically everything you could want in a first aid kit. It even has a tourniquet which is something I wanted. It has every size and shape of bandage, scissors, etc. I would recommend.

Good to take with you
This comprehensive GEVOKE first aid kit contains 410 essential items, including bandages, gauze, a whistle, compass, thermal blankets, scissors, tweezers, and a CPR mask. The durable hard-shell case features a well-organized interior with multiple compartments and both a handle and shoulder strap for easy carrying. Its compact size makes it suitable for cars or home use, such as in a bathroom. While potentially too large for backpacking, it is an excellent choice for camping and other outdoor activities.
