A worthy choice
Pros: The display is crisp without being blinding, even in the middle of the night and without my glasses. The orientation can be changed for easy reading when I switch hands. And there’s an option to display the waveform of my pulse (which may be a mixed blessing since mine’s somewhat irregular). The display takes a second or two to get an initial reading, but then it responds quickly to changes. The lanyard will attach to either the case or the oximeter itself. Immediately notices that I’ve removed my finger and turns itself off.Matches the reading from my doctor’s oximeter within a point.Cons: It *will* put my finger to sleep if I leave it on for too long, but there’s an easy fix — take it off when I’m done. Duh 😉 If I need to leave it on for a while, my little finger is less likely to fall asleep than my index finger.Thought: There are less expensive models that use segmented red LEDs, but the quality of this display is well worth the extra seven(?) dollars.

Excellent little 02 monitor
I’ve only had this O2 monitor for a short time but it seems to be a great product. Had to get a O2 monitor after leaving the hospital due to severe pneumonia and keeping track of my O2 sats became nessecary. This unit jumped out at me because of the reviews and the screen that adjusted to the angle it is being held. It is so simple to use and seems to be very accurate.

WORKS GREAT!
THIS ACCUMED O2 SAT OXIMETER , IS GREAT, I AM NEW TO THE WORLD OF CONTINUOUS OXYGEN THERAPY, SO TO BE ABLE TO MONITOR MY O2 LEVEL IS A NECESSARY. This unit is very accurate and the readings are very clear! The only drawback is the battery cover on the back, I cannot get it to stay on, it came off easy enough but does not go on with ease! I have considered sending it back, but I donât want to be without it for the time it would take to get a replacement, SO FOR NOW IâLL LIVE WITH IT, EVEN THOUGH IT ANNOYS ME GREATLY!!

I love this AccuMed monitor. I have COPD and need to be aware of my oxygen level, as a simple cold can turn into pneumonia in a flash. I have priced these at my local pharmacy and they are much more expensive than your product. If you need one of these monitors, don’t hesitate. This is a quality product. It is simple to use and has a nice little pouch for storage,

Worked fine, while it lasted. Not long after using it, the little rubber button cover came off. As well at some point, the strap broke but I don’t recall how.
