Comparable but not as strong maybe?
I typically use the Equate brand from Walmart, or even the Aleve PM. The Equate works well for me in terms of pain relief and helping me sleep at night. I typically start to feel the effects of sleepiness within the hour.The Amazon brand however, while it does help with pain relief, it doesnât help me get sleepier as quick as the other brands. It may take me an extra dose or an extra time to feel the effect of sleepiness, but still works.

For years I’ve kept the name brand version of this pain killer/sleep aid on my nightstand.I was glad to review these in comparison. While I seldom use them, I only take one instead of the directed 2 tablets.These are as effective as the name brand version, and a money saver.

Helps me sleep
I’ve had insomnia for years. Like many others I’ve tried a lot of prescription medicines and over the counter remedies. Most of the prescription meds have undesirable side effects, mostly on the following day. I’ve tried many non prescription remedies including most herbal or combination of herbal medicines with no satisfactory results. The only thing that seems to help is Naproxen PM. It’s not perfect but it does help in preventing a lot of wake ups during the night. After several days it seems less effective but if I discontinue it for a couple of days then I’m good to go for several more days. Given how many people have insomnia hopefully one day they’ll discover something that’s non addictive, no side effects, safe for prolonged use and provides a sound nights sleep. Until then I’ll stick with Naproxen PM.
