I absolutely love this curl custard from Aunt Jackie’s. I have very long, thick curly hair that gets frizzy at times. I use this custard along with a curl mousse for curl definition and control. It also smells so good! A little goes a long way! This product defines, softens, adds shine and tames frizz. It weighs my hair down a bit (in a good way) to control my curls more. Great Smell, Thick Cream Texture
My husband uses this cream every day and I believe it has a very nice smell! However, it does have a very thick texture that can be difficult to work in some times. There have been times I have had to help spot check my husband’s hair to make sure it is totally blended in.I do not think this product is as moisturizing as products my husband has used in the past. His curls come out more “crisp” instead of soft. Because of this it has great hold, but the effect on his hair is that it is definitely noticeable that he has product in his curls. It performs well for most of the day, though his curls will become “frizzy” again if it is humid enough. I have not seen flaking in his hair.

Know your hair type and porosity
I heard good things about this product and had to test it out myself. Iâm brought Aunt Jackieâs in the past have some go to products. I have 4C hair and while it left my hair feeling soft it did not define my curls as all. It only helped with moisturizing and seemed more in the heavy side, causing build up. Iâll finish what I have left but donât see myself buying this again. The price was fair, I just may not be the target audience
