We have been using this item for some time now and can say it works just fine. It gives accurate readings and is very durable. It is easy to clean and maintain and batteries last pretty well in it too. Super easy to use and very handy for seniors, moms and all.

I would of given it no stars bc this thing is a piece of junk it works when it wants to and I canât get it to work even if I change the batteries I canât return it because time ran out I use this for work so Iâm really upset about it

Poorly manufactured. The battery compartment will not take rechargeable batteries. Or rather only one side will. The other side narrows and you have to push fairly hard to get the last bit in. Then the battery was stuck. Removing the battery required pliers and damage the surface of the battery. Out of caution and I got rid of battery.Iâm giving it three stars rather than one or zero because it is inexpensive and does function. I was able to turn it on with the rechargeable batteries inside. If you want to buy it, it is cheap after all, but it is cheaply made. The flaw on the battery compartment is significant if you use rechargeable batteries. Also, it probably indicates that other aspects of the thermometer are not well-made either.

Dovevo regale ai miei genitori un termometro semplice e preciso e mi sono imbattuto in questo modello molto semplice sia come utilizzo (basta premere un tasto dopo averlo puntato in fronte) che come linea. Solido ed ergonomico che si tiene bene in mano. Inoltre hai la possibilità di misurare la temperatura degli ambienti e degli oggetti premendo sul pulsantino al lato sinistro che farà cambiare lâicona del display a seconda di cosa si vuole modificare mentre a destra il pulsante della memoria in modo da avere sempre a portata le ultime misurazioni. Works as expected and has 3 useful modes: forehead temp, object temp and room temp.Forehead – silent (vibrates) and quick, so is great for kids.Oject – useful for milk, food, etc.Room – good for checking the nursery temp to adjust heating.This is the second of this type of thermometer we’ve purchased. The other was a popular amazon one, but after using it for a while, we learnt it was highly inaccurate, so had to be returned. This, on the other hand, seems accurate and also has a calibration offset settings as well – so even if we find this slightly off, we can adjust it in future.The only thing I don’t like is if it’s too high, it just says “Hi” instead of a temp reading. I would prefer to see the actual reading as I prefer to check – eg our kettle has variable temp, so I was curious how accurate it is
