Pretty Cool Chair, Couch Stand Assist.
I like this chair assist. I set it up in my family room to try it out, I had to put a pad under it so it wouldn’t scratch my floor. It works good, high quality material but a little pricey. I like the cup holder.I am taking this to my dad’s house, he needs help getting out of his recliner and he also has carpet so it won’t scratch his floor.

These things are lifesavers. I have family members who need a bit of extra assistance in getting up, but I’ve also found that, at times, I need help getting up from a lower sofa. Hey, it’s an inevitable factor in getting older; it gets harder to stand up when you’re on a lower seat. I didn’t understand why my grandparents started replacing lower sitting items, but I certainly do now!This is a great option for those cases where getting a new item isn’t really feasible, either because you are in love with the furniture, can’t find one high enough, or can’t afford a replacement. This slides under your sofa pretty easily – you can also lift up the furniture and put it under one of the legs, as seen in the image. My only caution would be to make sure that your sofa can be lifted for this and has space underneath it that would allow for this to get slid underneath.Other than that, this is sturdily built and looks like it could take quite a bit of use. This also holds a maximum weight of 350 pounds, so it can be used by a diverse group of people. I also love that this has a place to put your drink. That’s a great addition – my only caution on that end would be to make sure that you’re aware of it when standing up. If it’s very full there’s the potential for the motion to cause the liquid to spill, but that’s not really a fault of the unit.Price-wise, this is comparable with other, similar units. Some are cheaper but don’t have the same type of base. Others are more expensive but offer a bit more bells and whistles. It all boils down to need and your weight, in my opinion.

Wobbles while getting up
This stand assist device is solidly made and heavy. It was easy to assemble with the included screws and allen wrench. But, since the stand is only held in place by the furniture, it wobbles a bit while getting up. This may be helpful if you just need a mild level of assist from it. But, if you need to put some weight on it, it wobbles and doesn’t feel secure. If you have extremely heavy furniture then this might work a bit better for you.

Good Secure Assistance
I am sometimes a caregiver to a couple of people that have some issues that require some extra care. I was so excited to be able to try this couch assist that matches with some of my accents in my home. It’s easy to use and set up and has been a real knee and back saver for the folks that use it.

Smart design.
I found this chair assist extremely easy to put together. It slid under the furniture and held weight just fine. It was on a rug that was under the furniture, so there were no worries of it scratching a floor. It’s intended to use under a heavy sofa. The cup holder is a nice extra touch. I was impressed with the quality of the metal and materials. I would give it 5 Stars.

Will Scratch Hard Floors
Putting it together was simple enough but the screws slightly extend past the base and will scratch any hard surfaces. Itâs heavy and offset enough that you donât really need to place it under a chair leg unless you wanted added security. The cup holder is too narrow and most of my cups, glasses and tumblers wonât fit. A regular water bottle is the only thing I could get into it.
