Customers say
Customers find the sock aid works well and is easy to use, helping them put on socks in less than 5 seconds. The device holds socks in place better and is compact, though some note it’s too small for their needs. While some customers consider it worth the price, others find it unusable. The sturdiness receives mixed feedback, with several customers reporting that the straps broke after first use.

This product is a lifesaver for those of us whose knees donât work anymore! When I first saw it I was skeptical but I will tell you it works perfectly for putting on socks! I havenât tried it for pulling up pants but I definitely recommend this!

Great tool to have. For elderly or after a surgery.
When you canât reach your feet to put your socks on after surgery, this tool is amazing and life changing. Wish I had invented it. $$$$

Effective, easy to use, but not sturdy enough for compression socks
I love this product. It is great for assisting with regular socks. However, I now have to use calf-length compression socks which requires much more strain to pull on. The strap rips from the base after only two weeks use. The strap needs to be more rugged if used for compression socks. I am in the process of gluing the broken strap to the side of the base in hopes I can get more use out of the sock assist.UPDATEGluing the broken strap to the side of the sock assist as shown in the first photo only held for about 2 weeks. I cut through the material covering the notch in the side of the sock assist, threaded the strap through the slit, and glued it back on itself as shown in the second photo. This has held well for over 2 months of daily use. The glued strap is shown next to a new item which I purchased as backup in case the glued strap would fail again.UPDATEAfter several months of daily use the other strap ripped. The previously-repaired side continues to hold well. I slit the fabric covering the ripped off side, threaded the broken strap through the slit and glued it back on itself as shown in the picture. It should now last a long time with the two straps now firmly anchored.

I am so glad I discovered this…
I stuggled for almost 2 years to be able to put my socks on. I got hit by a pick-up as a pedestrian and broke my left hip among other things. So when I got out of hospital and got home I had problem bending over and putting on my socks . This product is a god send and makes life easier to do this task. All you have to do is put the sock on the end with the three prongs, pull all the way up to the open end than put it on the floor put your foot into the open end, using the straps that are connected at the open end pull onto your leg and the sock slides off onto your foot. I highly reccomend this for seniors or people with a disability such as myself that is I gave this the 5 stars. This made my life much more easier in something simple like putting my own socks on.

A THROW AWAY AID
THE PRODUCT IS FLIMSY PLASTIC AND DOESN’T PROVIDE ENOUGH SUPOORT WHEN PULLING UP THE SOCKS- DIASTER WITH HEAVY SOCKS I WILL LOOK EKSEWHERE FOR A GOOD SOCK AID

Can’t use for narrow dress or sports socks
The concept is excellent but the manufacturer needs to go back to the drawing board. This works perfectly when putting on wide fleece winter socks but is useless when trying to put on dress socks or sports socks. The actual tool that you put the sock on is way too wide and you don’t want to squeeze it to make it more narrow because it will break. I’m still searching for something that will work for those of us who cannot reach our feet to put on socks due to hip surgery

This is fantastic! I have been suffering a back injury the past few months and putting on socks has been almost impossible. I came across this item and thought I’d give it a try out of desperation but had no great belief that it would work. However i discovered it works perfectly – you can use it for any type of sock, from thick woollen ones to thin cotton ones. Once you have put the sock on it, you simply slide your foot in. Pulling on the straps removes the aid from your sock and also brings the sock up over the heel for a perfecct fit. My biggest regret is that I didn’t come across this months ago.

Works a treat! Easy to fit the sock, slide the toes in, a gentle pull on the cords and sock slips on with the heel slid on perfectly!
