This is a pretty decent little bike if you’re just looking for something affordable without all the bells and whistles! It’s fairly light and easy to move around as well as fold up if you need to. The wheel is very smooth and quiet and the tension adjustment knob is easy to reach and adjust as needed while still peddling. Seat adjustment is pretty easy as well. The assembly wasn’t hard but kind of a pain, plus it was missing the allen wrench that was supposed to be included, luckily I had one that was the correct size! I recommend following the instruction video vs the paper manual when assembling. The seat is pretty uncomfortable, but I folded a towel up about 3 times and put it on the seat and that helps a little bit. Overall happy with the purchase….it’s sturdy and a great low impact way to keep my legs moving without having to leave the house!

Raw review: MGYM exercise bike came on the day expected, packaged well. While putting it together, as per the steps in the instructions, I found some parts already assembled, it struck me a little odd but I brushed it off, maybe something changed and it threw off the instructions a little, maybe. I found a few more thing that made me a little suspicious. When putting on the backrest there was a missing bolt. I started wondering if this bike was actually new as some parts had been assembled when I pulled it out of the box. When putting the handle bars on I noticed that the protection film over the pulse sensors had been removed. This leaves me wondering if I have a Frankenstein bike pieced together from returns. The resistance bands that are supposed to attach to the back were missing the clips to attach them, so.. my husband slipped then over the seat bars. When it was all put together I gay it a spin. Two things were prominent, the screen is not backlit and impossible to read unless you are in a well lit room and, the seat, or at least my seat is noticeably wobbly, not so wobbly that I’m scared of falling of though, but still, not to happy about that. As far as riding it, it was quiet, the stress bands under the handlebars were nice and I appreciated them being on the bike, changing pedal tension was easy, so were the seat and folding adjustments. It is compact and doesn’t take up much room and is easy to move. This could have been a 5 star review across the board however, because of all the discrepancies, and either getting a complete returned bike or a Frankenstein pieced together bike… I paid for a new or refurbished bike.

Sorry about my car being in the picture. I was on the way to the UPS store to get it packaged and returned for refund. On that note, if you still get the bike you should keep the box, I just left the store not too long ago, they wanted $38 to rebox it! Not amazon’s fault my dad likes to throw away boxes, atleast the shipping is covered for by them. It did last for a bit. I did not use it right away until New Years. I did not use it constantly everyday because I didn’t want to bore myself with the same exercises day after day so I did like 2-3 bike days a week, 10-15 minutes a day. I thought it may last because it was heavy but some parts were kind of flimsy but I guess that the price could be a factor for that. The seat was somewhat comfortable, I’m over 220 lbs. I like that it was also mobile so I would exercise in different rooms to keep myself entertained. The worse part of this review is the last picture. You can see where the right shoe stripped the socket, not sure what would of caused it but one day I got on and exercised for about 5 minutes and it fell off the bike. It left metal shavings on my carpet. I loved the bike though regardless, just wish it were sturdier.
