Sturdy and reliable
Something I didn’t expect from this item is how solidly it’s made. With a thick inner plastic casing and durable fabric outside, it managed to keep up with me during hikes and dense forest jogs, along with my dog constantly chewing on bits of it when I wasn’t looking! It was easy enough to clean with warm, soapy water, and the musty, mildewy stink normally associated with things like this was not present after 10+ uses. If that changes I’ll update.

Lightweight Hiking Hydration Backpack
I really like this hydration backpack. The bladder functions well with no leaks and is easy to drink from. It’s compact but still has space for a few small essentials. I even bought an insulated pack to keep the water cool in the bladder, and it fits in the backpack, although a little snugly. I find the backpack comfortable to wear and it adjusts well for larger frames. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this product.

Cute little water backpack
Got this for my daughter. It’s super lightweight and the spout on the bladder works fine. (took some figuring out that you had to pull it out first I believe). Seems like is fairly made. But it’s not expensive either. Not as sturdy as some of my more expensive ones but worked great for my ten year old. She loves the color.

Light way to carry 2L on a hike!
The pack itself is well made with wide and solid shoulder straps and good stitching. The bladder is noticeably thinner than a camelBack bladder but it holds water just as well. No leaking from any of the connections or bladder. The tube is a little long for my liking, but that can be fixed by either trimming it down or pushing the excess back into the bag, though that will reduce the already limited cargo space. It rides well across the shoulders and chest. The bladder has hanging holes at the top and there is a velcro loop at the top of the inside in the bag to secure it. The holes on the bladder don’t feel very strong and may not hold up in the long run. It is easy to get a replacement bladder if it comes to that though.

Compact light weight hydration pack
Well made minimalist hydration back pack for biking and running. Can be used for day hiking as well, but it really doesn’t have much space to hold much extra things for hiking (food, first aid kit, electronics, and really any bulky extra clothing layers would be too bulk to fit inside with the bladder). The 2L water bladder capacity is perfect for 4 hrs of hard exercise. The zippered back section opens and there is a slot for the water bladder closest to your back. The water tube hose fits thru the bottom up thru either of the top shoulder straps to bring it from back to front for easy access while on the move. The pack is very light weight and just has the two shoulder straps and a chest strap to keep in in place. There isn’t any waist strap like a larger hiking backpack would have to distribute weight to your hips. You could hang a jacket or hat on the outside and strap it in, but there aren’t any outside pockets in the back for anything. There are 4 D ring hooks on the front along with a couple horizontal reflective strips. The back material is also shiny and reflective as it gets dark. So, for running and biking, it’s a great minimalist hydration pack.

Adequate water carrying backpack
Decent size water backpack with a 2L bladder that is more than enough for most activities. The storage space is adequate but for longer uses like a hike were you might want to carry a jacket extra socks some food and electronics you might not have enough space. The tube cover is held on the water tube with a flimsy piece of plastic that can easily give out. It feels good one you have it adjusted to your size. The only reason I couldn’t give this a better score is because on my first use I felt my lower back wet and the bottom of the backpack. I looked around everywhere on the bladder but could not determine where it leaked from that would worry me about carrying something in the bag and thinking it my get wet.

Potentially a lifesaver in the wilderness.
I have a pretty good selection of hydration packs and bottle carriers, but sometimes I just want to pare things down to just the water, and lots of it. 2L is a pretty good water load out for hot weather day hikes, and there’s not so much extra weight here as there would be with my larger day packs that have similar capacity. The small outer pocket is handy for water treatment tablets if there’s a chance of finding more water along the trail. My one complaint would be the non-detachable hose on the bladder itself, so there’s no way to replace the hose or valve if they get damaged, but I may try to swap the bladder with a 3L one anyway.
