I will say that the magnetic strength is pretty decent on these pens. I got them for my daughter to give out as gifts for friends that came for her birthday party. After a few weeks, I asked the parents how they liked the pens. Only two of the 10 really enjoyed them as pen/toys. They love playing with the magnets, but not really functional as a pen. It is a fun and creative idea, Iâm just not sure really about the practicality of the pen/toy. It is a very durable toy. A little pricey, weâve had no problems with them. They do work well. Just not as practical as a pen as I thought it would be. Overall a 5/10 just because they would rather play with the magnets than actually use it as a pen. The age range of the 10 children are 10-12-year-old boys and girls.
