Nice Smooth Texture
This is just pure protein. When Blended in a blender it is very smooth there is no gritty texture at all. So many protein drinks have too many ingredients in it including those terrible guar gums. I have a dislike for probiotics in every single nutritional product I buy. This best to take probiotics alone and at the end of the day and on an empty stomach. This is a protein you can add whatever you want. You can drink by itself but it’s very Bland in flavor but tolerable. Or you can add some fruit your own whatever other sweetener that you like. It is only one gram of fiber per serving which is great since I add fruit giving it its own Raw fiber. I highly recommend this as a protein source.

I bought this protein because I have read that pea protein is one of the best plant-based proteins for vegans. This one is not flavored unfortunately but it is organic and I purchased it based on the glowing reviews. However, it seems my scoop is M.I.A. *cut to me trying to find it without digging through the entire tub* Needless to say, I dug through the entire tub and have yet to find it. Send me a scooper and I’ll raise this to 5-stars! The serving size is “2 level scoops” so I am using 1/4 cup which I assume is about the right serving size. Please correct me if I am wrong.Anyway, I use this post-workout in the mornings and sometimes pre-workout (1 “scoop” instead of 2) blended with chia seeds, hemp hearts, Paradise Herbs Energy Greens, 1 banana, PB2, and flax milk. It is amazing and so much cheaper than buying the Paradise Herbs Protein+Greens. Soooo much cheaper! It is very filling and easy on the stomach. I highly recommend this product but be prepared to blend it with something to enhance the taste.Edit for update 4/1/16: I ordered another tub and this one came with a scoop! I would say the correct serving size is about 2 tbsp if you are missing your scooper. Still love this protein. I may experiment with other brands for taste as this one is a bit bland.

Most versatile and safest protein powder!
I have tried many different protein powders, from organic to non organic and this one is by far my favorite. It has one of the largest grams of protein per scoop that I have seen among the organic or non-gmo protein powders. It blends very well whether it is by hand or in a blender. From my experience, it gets absorbed easily as well. Since I began taking it after my workouts, I’ve noticed that I feel stronger and more energetic, hence I’m probably meeting my daily protein count. As for the taste, it doesn’t really have a taste. I would describe it as slightly grainy. If you’re trying to buy a protein powder that that tastes good, then this one is probably not for you. On the other hand however, this powder is very versatile due to its lack of taste. You can easily use it for protein shakes that have other ingredients, or add it to oatmeal, bakery, etc.

Taste is coverable
I needed an unflavored powder so I could make various flavored protein drinks or to just add more protein powder to other powders (without added flavor making it too sweet). I’ve found the flavor easily coverable by frozen fruits, sugar free syrups, peanut butter, other powders etc .. I mix in a blender and pour over ice

Blended well but I hated the taste
I honestly just hated the taste of the product. Hard to describe the taste, the first time I used the protein powder was in a cold coffee drink I blended up; I noticed an odd taste, but the coffee probably covered a lot of it. When I used it in a smoothie, the bad taste was very strong and I noticed it immediately; I actually wondered if the spinach I added to the smoothie had gone bad. The taste made me gag, so I threw out that smoothie. I tried again the next day using milk from a new carton, no spinach, different fruit, but got the same results; the flavor was just so awful I just gagged and couldn’t get more than one drink down. The flavor may be fine for other people, just didn’t work for me. On the upside for the product, it did seem to blend quite well!

Tastes bad, but gets the job done
I bought this because it was a budget friendly option for protein powder. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it anyone because the taste is so overwhelming in most uses. A fruit smoothie will make the aftertaste significantly worse, but adding some cocoa powder and maple syrup helps quite a bit.
