A little mushy, but flavorful
I could see eating this with greater frequency if the need arose. It’s a little mushy in texture (go figure, it’s dehydrated and then reconstituted rice), but the flavor is decent, and it’s quick and easy to make. I bought another can to add to my under-the-bed, earthquake prep, emergency kit.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE
The can says 10 servings at 1 cup per. I measured every serving in a 12 oz. cup, and only got 4 1/2 servings from one can! These cans of MRE freeze dried food are not worth the almost $60.00 price!UPDATE:I opened my second can, (bought 3 cans) and measured about 5 1/2 cups.These cans don’t come but half full, and not 10 servings as advertised, and printed on the cans!

Busy life and this product gives me more time with my family, less time in the kitchen cleaning. Highly recommend.Pros: reconstitutes great. No chunks of freezer burn. Tastes is really good. I was expecting it to be more bland so very happy I don’t have to drown it in salt and hot sauce.Cons: family fights over it.
