Awesome air fryer, my 2nd time purchasing!
Missing one of the mesh racks. When I try to message amazon it says they donât replace parts. Fortunately, I contacted Nuwave and they are sending replacement rack for me. Kudos to the manufacturer for backing their product. Rep was very friendly and helpful. This is my 2nd purchase of this item. Love it. My first one lasted 4 years of daily, sometimes multiple times in a day of use, my old one a piece broke on the door.Cooking: I turn temp down less than you would cook in other air fryers and always use the 1500 watt setting. Yes Iâve roasted a 5lb chicken and turned out beautifully! Iâve made everything in this! Even hard cooked my eggs!

I purchased this air fryer last September, everything was good, the unit worked very well, food always came out good. Unfortunately the door hinge broke off after about 6 months or use, I emailed costumer support and the next day they shipped a new unit with return label for the old one. Maybe the design was defective, because on the new one the hinge and door is already updated. The costumer support is 5 star for sure and I hope this new fryer will last much longer then the old one because it’s hard to find an air fryer which don’t have Teflon coating on the inside.

My family is following a low carb diet and we have essentially six adults living together (MIL and adult children still here while going to college etc) so there is food being cooked at all hours of the day. This machine is used at least twice a day, sometimes five or six times a day. Crisy bacon is easy, frozen patties cooked to done and great for chicken nuggets too.We were very unhappy when I started getting an error message when preheating and worried that it might be dangerous. I looked up the online customer manual and found the error message listed there. I followed the directions and emailed customer service for help. I received a response on the same day and they sent me a replacement unit free of charge that I got in less than a week. The box includes a return shipping sticker (prepaid) to send back the defective unit. That is customer service!The new unit works great and we are back in business!

Uneven cooking.
I bought a powerxl 10 qt from Walmart for $80 and that thing was awesome. Iâd still be rocking with that one but i pushed it back on my stove top and it turned on the burner and burned a hole in the bottom. Walmarts been outta stock so I bought this one. My old one cooked evenly and thats what I expected with this one, as it costs more money.I mainly do wings in air fryers and thought this 15 qt would do more. It doesnât, and it kinda sucks if Iâm being blunt. I can fit the same amount of wings in this 15 qt as my old 10 qt, but it also takes up way more space.The next bummer about this thing is that the timer wonât start until itâs reached it preheat temp. It takes a while for it to preheat, and not long for it to lose its tempâ¦this is a huge problem for the next major con I have with this air fryer, but weâll get into that later. So really, you have to use a different timer like a microwave or your phone because every time you open the door itâs going to preheat again and youâre not going to want to watch it preheat just so you can use the timer.The next major flaw is that it hardly cooks anything not on the top rack. I can finish the top rack of wings in about 16 minutes, but the bottom 2 racks look as raw as they did in the packaging after 30+ min. So, every 8 minutes youâll have to come flip your top racked wings, and once theyâre done you have to move the next rack up and start from the very beginning because theyâre still so raw. Remember how I said that preheat/timer feature is trash? Well every time you open the oven, itâs going to have to preheat again (makes sense) but for a shorter amount of timeâ¦and if youâre not paying attention, the timer will count down and turn it off if you didnât set the timer.I guess the pro to this monster is that it cooks the top rack very fast lol.I want to sell mine and go back to old reliable. I went on marketplace and typed in air fryer to see if someone was selling my old air fryer (Walmarts been out for a month now) and I saw a TON of this model on there..not only is marketplace full of this model, but the average price is around $50 for something I paid nearly $200 for.I know what itâs like looking at bad reviews and thinking âthis person just seems like one of those people no one can satisfyââ¦Iâm not that kinda reviewer. This unit is huge but only sufficient for top rack cooking or maybe rotisserie (idk, never tried to cook with it).
