Best, Most Reliable Household Blender Iâve Used
Full disclosure, Iâve not used industrial, super fancy, expensive blenders. But as standard household blenders go, this is definitely the best. I only recently bought this one to replace an older model of the same blender, which only started showing some age after I used it one to two times per day for over five years. I use it to grind up hard foods like almonds in smoothies all the time and it works great.Two things you want to keep in mind:1. You really need to completely disassemble the blade and glass assembly to wash it after every use (not just rinse the whole thing) to keep it working well for longer. Itâs not that big of a deal and it makes a huge difference in its lifespan.2. When you need to replace the blade, which Iâve only had to do after 3 or 4 years of use, be sure to buy the Oster brand blade. I tried an off brand replacement and there was a noticeable difference, which likely put some extra wear and tear on the motor.

GREAT FOR MAKING SMOOTHIES AND A GREAT PRICE
My new blender arrived yesterday, I just made my first smoothie and I am very impressed. It was smaller then thefirst Oster blender but it did a great job with frozen berries and chopping up ice cubes. I followed the instructions by putting the milk, yogurt and banana in first. Mixed that up and added the frozen ingredients. PERFECT

This blender works fine. My previous Oster blender was made of plastic. This one is glass. Am having to get used to the added weight. My wife and I have used Osterizer blenders all of our married life (62 years). Would never use another brand.

Makes swell milkshakes and smoothies..!!
Itâs an inexpensive blender that I use to prepare milk shakes. It works.Itâs not like one of those pricey but superb blenders but Iâve used this blender to make sauces as well.Nothing fancy and easy to clean. Happy for what I wanted the blender for.

I smell smoke when I use it
i smell smoke everytime i use it..so disappointing because I like the blender..it’s quieter than my last one which I love but I know it won’t last too long because I smell smoke
