Customers say
Customers find the bike airplane cute and fun, particularly for kids who love planes, with the propeller spinning fast while riding and making the bike go faster. The product offers good value for money and functions well, though customers report durability issues with the propeller breaking easily and the airplane falling off the handlebars. The fit receives mixed feedback, with several customers noting it doesn’t work on their children’s bikes.

It is EXACTLY as it appears to be, Ya’LL. THE CUTEST DANG THING YA EVER DID SEE!
I merely stumbled upon this cuteness while on the hunt for something completely different.BAM! I see this lil guy and i just had to have it. GET IT! (suppose not very durable, worth every penny though!)Unfortunately, I actually did buy it for my own bike. IT DOES NOT FIT. All is groovy. I am positive that i should already have suspected this is not a typical adult style handlebar accessory.Oh well, I am gonna think of another cute idea for it and then take this pic and post it.Lots o’ Love,Kristina

It’s an airplane for your handlebars. How cool is that?
Ok. It’s a very cheap plastic toy. If you’re looking for a high quality WWII fighter model, then keep looking. All I know is that the propeller spins when I ride, and it makes me smile every time I get on my bike. You don’t have to be a Pee-wee Herman fan to like this thing, but it helps.

Hell yeah!
This Bike Airplane got me higher than I ever imagined. I not only can fly, but look like a badass while cruising the town. I suggest everyone order one of these too enhance their bicycle experience. Have you seen the movie E.T? Well imagine riding your bike and you start flying just like on the movie. Thats what happens. Seriously. Bike Airplane is the best bicycle product out there. Into endurance races? Bike Airplane is the perfect product too keep you entertained on the ride. If you’re a real american you will buy the Bike Airplane now!

Cute and fun but very cheaply made.
The kids loved these little bicycle airplanes and it was fun to watch the propeller spin in the wind but they were very cheaply made. They broke within 1 day which made the kids very unhapppy. I would not suggest purchasing this product. Especially since they were not inexpensive. What I would expect from a dollar store purchase.

I’m back, for #4 and #5 of these in ~3 months
We bought two of these at a local museum’s gift shop, for my 4 year old and 6 year old, about three months ago. I opened them and thought I’d been taken for a ride. They felt like Dollar Tree quality, but I had paid… well, a lot more than a dollar. I figured the museum had marked them up like crazy. But, the kids were excited so we put them on their bikes and took them out for a ride. My 4 year old fell, as 4 year olds tend to do on bicycles, and the propeller broke right off. I tried to Superglue it back on, but it broke right off again. So, that was the end of plane #1.We still had #2, but the 4 year old threw a fit whenever his big sister rode with hers, so we put it away until we could get a replacement for plane #1. Apparently, we put it someplace so safe that we can no longer find it. So, that was the end of plane #2 — admittedly, not the manufacturer’s fault. We got a replacement for #1 here on Amazon. I was simultaneously relieved and amazed to find that Amazon’s price was about the same as the museum’s. This one lasted much longer. My kids’ bikes are shaped like a U with a bar across the top. I had initially mounted the plane next to their handlebar grips, but I think this made it more exposed in case of a fall. This second time around, I mounted it on the bottom of the U. This seemed to protect it a little bit better so it was less likely to break.Unfortunately, the mount is not real secure, and so the plane tended to fall off when my son put his bike down on the ground. We noticed it many, many times and put it back on, but the last time we took it out, it apparently fell off and we didn’t notice… so, that was the end of plane #3.So here I am, buying planes #4 and #5. Because hey, the kids *love* them, and they aren’t *that* expensive, and I’m down with anything that encourages them to get outside and bike.I’m planning to Superglue these planes onto the mount. I’m a little concerned that in case of a crash, the planes will just break, rather than fall off the mount. I’ll report back if I need to return to buy planes #6 and #7 real soon here 🙂

Blowing in the wind!
Okay… here’s why: Little 4-year-old grand nephew had one that broke. He was sad. He just liked it so much, he couldn’t put it down, so it’s not high quality, just fun. Well, I searched and found on Amazon. Got 4 to get the free S&H. So the rating is 5 for the joy it brought nephew! He was thrilled when he saw “4” in the box! Wow! The value for $ is tied to how much it meant to him. The durability is somewhat laughable, but it was worth it. I suppose it would last longer if left on a shelf or on the bicycle handles (works very well and as intended there). Would be nice if there was a ⦠“buy a whole bunch and the price per item reduces.” Oh, well… in a perfect world!

Fun little handlebar toy
I was given this as a gift, love it on my Honda Ruckus scooter handlebar. Not sure how long it will last at these speeds compared to a bicycle, but we will see. I will buy another if it wears out quickly.
