Pretty good personal sized blender and chopper, a few caveats. Not the best for coffee
First, no I don’t think it’s as good as the popular brands. But it provides a lot of bang for your buck – it’s versatile, economic, and meets all my daily needs. So I’m still giving it a thumbs up.First the limitations. It can’t really do full ice cubes, or whole frozen strawberries. However my ice maker makes hollow ice cubes, and it chops those up great. It does a pretty decent job chopping ice – it’s not finely shaved ice, but it can make a snow cone. Most frozen fruit is soft enough that this will handle it just fine. But large frozen pineapple chunks, whole frozen strawberries, etc, need to be cut in half. I typically add some fruit, some oat milk or cream, ice, and a scoop of protein powder – and this blends it perfectly in about 30 seconds, with no chunks.I also like the second blade, for chopping. It’s great for herbs, seeds, nuts, grains, hard cheeses, garlic and shallots, spices, etc. However, they show photos of grinding coffee, and this isn’t really the ideal blade for coffee because it comes out uneven. It would be fine with a percolator, or maybe a french press or moka pot. But I wouldn’t use it as your primary grinder if making drip coffee or espresso. It’s easy to wash, everything in here is washable and dishwasher safe except for the base. However, the cups are plastic, and they can get discolored or retail smells. I would advise you to wash it out right away. One of the big perks is that you can throw a lid on the cup and travel with it. However, if you have a red drink in there (like strawberry smoothie), over time you’re going to see red stains and maybe even the smells soak in. So I really wouldn’t use this as a travel mug – if you’re going to travel far with your drink, I suggest pouring it into another tumbler.

Easy-to-use and makes ranch dressing without clumping the powder in the bottom
We’ve had other mixers of this style and making ranch dressing in them usually sees the powder mix clumping badly at either the top or the bottom. Not so with this mixer. While it has a variety of uses, we pretty much use ours as a blender for dressings and hummus and it’s worked well so far. It is noisy, but all blenders are.
