Air Walk Elliptical from Sunny Health and Fitness
I picked one of these Sunny Health and Fitness air walk elliptical machines earlier in the year. The price was slashed $20 dollars from the regular selling price on Amazon. I also have a Sunny Health and Fitness under desk pedal machine that I bought in January of 2022. My under desk elliptical still works but the higher resistance numbers on the knob no longer work. If you turn the resistance knob all the way to the right the pedal resistance now is less than what it should be. Other than that it seems like a high quality pedal exerciser.I have a row machine exerciser that I used to use a lot but the stationary foot pedals in front are to close causing my knees to bend at an awkward angle. I no longer use my rower or my under desk pedal machine, all I use now is this Sunny Health air walk elliptical. This exerciser is sturdy and well built. They state it has a maximum weight load of 220 lbs which is my current weight at the moment. Since I’m at the maximum weight recommended I’m a bit careful getting on and off the elliptical machine.I tried using this for 40 minute workouts but that seems a bit excessive. Now I aim for 1,500 repetitions on the built in counter which is about 21 minutes then I’ll do 20 minutes more of another exercise like walking 20 minutes while wearing a 42 lb. weight vest. This elliptical has a post that extends up with a stomach pad attached. I never even installed that post and pad. I removed the post the first time I used this. Getting on this elliptical took some learning at first. It took me about 12 minutes to get the hang of using it. The main effort required to use this elliptical is by swinging your legs but when I first got on it I was trying to get it in motion by just using the arm bars, so I would get tired in just a couple minutes. The elliptical exerciser was quiet when I first bought it but started making some noise after awhile so I turned it upside down to add light duty oil to a few spots that I thought needed lubrication. It still makes some noise but if I have my television or radio on I don’t notice it at all. Of course adding lubrication to the moving parts will cause some oil to drip down, so after I added oil I placed it on a mat for a couple days so as to not stain the carpet with oilThis was great bargain as an exercise machine for the sale price I bought it at. Some other different retailers also had this elliptical discounted at the same time as Amazon. I’m pretty athletic and the only exercise that really gets my heart rate up is hill walking. I live in a valley in the California high desert with a lot of hills. I can work up a sweat in the summertime using this but I don’t really huff and puff while on this elliptical exerciser. I highly recommend the Sunny Health and Fitness air walker as purchase choice. It seems well built and it looks like it will last quite a while.

works up a sweat!
i have a walking pad that i like to use, but i’ve been having knee pain and wanted something lower impact. i bought this and i love it. it was very easy to assemble and it took a minute to get the hang of moving on it (it’s not like a typical elliptical) but once i got going, it got my heart rate up and worked up a sweat! i took the cushion off because it made me feel like i wasn’t balanced well and made it hard to walk but other than that, its perfect. i had issues with the resistance bands coming unhooked, but i put a piece of sticky gorilla putty on the hook and then looped the band on it and it stays put.

Great Purchase, Impressed!
This was a great purchase. I had my doubts that this $85 (at the time) elliptical would be worth the money but boy was it worth it. I purchased this in July of 2024 so I could workout inside during the heat of the day. The set-up was very easy with the instructions and tools provided. I now use it daily for at least 60 minutes due to weather or circumstances. It is very stable and has a very smooth movement. I can go pretty fast as I usually use it one handed or no handed and I usually have a phone playing games in one hand. I did have to tighten the handle as it became loose once, but it was very easy with the tools provided. It did start to squeak about 6 months after the purchase but a little WD-40 on the foot connections quickly stopped that. This was a great purchase for me that helped me lose 20 pounds.

5 stars on machine & customer service. Minus zero stars on assembly & how to use instructions.
This machine is a dandy for the $80 & free shipping. It has a sliding, swinging motion that can go quite fast if you want with little demand on joints. It’s great if you want to put it in front of your TV in your living room. It doesn’t take up the space of a treadmill or even a bicycle. It is light enough to drag off or carry off in a hurry. I’m 72, 5’6″ , 150 lbs.. I can lift it. It has been criticized in these reviews for not giving a hard enough workout. Some say they can’t break a sweat. I would say it is exceptionally well suited for older people and physically inactive people . Also perhaps folks who have balancing issues. You can get a doable workout if you can go at medium speeds on a treadmill. It’s equivilent to taking a moderatly brisk walk on a wood road. But you can go at a slower,”stroll,” also. If you are wanting to just improve your health and/or lose some weight you can burn off calories that count and keep your blood flowing and muscles stronger. If you stick it in front of the TV and watch a half to full hour of your favorite show, you will hardly notice you exercised. Split your TV workouts up in time periods at first If you are preparing for Olympic Ski team or Mr or Mrs. American competition, it’s not the machine for you. If you are the average office worker / home maker and are coming up on pre diabetes, high blood pressure, overweight and you want to get those things in check without killing yourself, this machine in front of your TV for an hour a day is a realistic solution. I urge you to .use the TV. Any exercising machine is boring and thats why they get cast aside quickly without a TV. You need something interesing to occupy your mind while exercising. Talking on the phone works too….if you are chatty enough. If you consult Google you will find that 10,000 steps a day is reccommended for people. That’s 5 miles. However if you are now only going 1000 steps a day between house to car, car to office, light housework, & cooking , an additional 2000 steps a day is a big deal. If for the rest of your life you did 3000 steps a day instead of 1000 , clearly you would be better off. Dr.Oz took the couches out of his TV- living room and replaced all seating with stationery bikes. Lots of middle age to older people don’t take walks outside or do sports. That leaves exercise in front of TV. My machine arrived with 2 broken pins & a dead battery. I wasn’t sure if one of the pins was broken or was suppose to break to get it out. I emailed customer service asking if it was truely broken or not. Also a few questions about the second pin..thought maybe it was ok. Wasn’t sure if it fit tight enough to stay. They asked to see my receipt. 3 Days later I received in the mail 2 new pins & 2 new batteries. No explanation. But pleasing. The original assembly directions are terrible. But you can almost assemble it without any. Good thing as the photos are thumb size..near worthless. There is an immensly vague write up on how to use the time/calorie/step counter. It’s an embarrassment to the company and quite scarey as the first thing you look at is the directions……….They make you think the machine is going to be cheap & fall apart. Then after you get the machine together and start using it, you feel much better. It took me 3 days of using the maching to decipher the counting dial. They use the term “count”. Which might be easier if called “step”……Or…if they explained what you are counting. I still don’t know if the “count” is one step or 2. Google says 2000 steps make a mile. When your “count” # reaches 2000, you have gone a mile…..maybe.

Only had it a couple of days but so far I’m happy with it for the price. It is very easy to assemble being 99% already done on arrival. I wanted something light and simple to increase my heart health, have bad knees so needed low impact.Love walking outside but between northern Canadian winters and my dog being older and slower this gives a bit of a boost…10 mins burned 96 calories according to the monitor…I like that you can choose to go slow with small strides or faster and kick it up a bit, though it did wobble a bit when going faster, not enough to be concerned about it falling over and no doubt due to it’s small footprint which I love having little room for exercise equipment. It feels fairly solid to me so I’m hoping it lasts a few years at least (some say the pedals break but I’m wondering if they are pushing the weight limit). If it breaks I will revisit this review however right now I am happy…

Love it! I found it easy to assemble and really helps with cardio. No resistance levels unfortunately, but I paid £91 so I expect the basics. Itâs sturdy and good value for money; a good quality product.
