Favorite thermometer when cooking or smoking meats. The size allows for storage just about anywhere. Easy to read and accurate. Magnet function holds well to most items. Overall durable and functional.

Works just as described. Small even in the box, which is where I put it when it’s cleaned, for putting away so fits in my cutlery drawer.

Good quality for the price, I wish it defaulted to Fahrenheit but that’s a minor issue. The display is rather small, I have to use my glasses to read it. The accuracy is good! I haven’t had any issues with it other than it’s size and having to remember to switch the temp type.

Handy and accurate readings
This is a great meat thermometer. My husband loves to use it when heâs grilling. He likes it so much, that we have purchased several of these and given them as gifts. The lighted display makes it easy to read. For those who use Celsius vs. Fahrenheit, you can easily switch between the two.It is NOT water proof so be careful when washing.

Sensor good, included battery is terrible
The temperature comes up quickly and matches my other thermometers, so the important part works. The battery was dead within a few weeks. I suspect the automatic shutoff is not working properly. The two LR44 batteries tested at just over 1.2V, which is surprisingly high voltage for a “dead” 1.5 battery, especially considering the falloff curve for the LR44 cells. The alkaline battery is pretty terrible anyway with a high risk of leaking, and I’ve replaced with two equivalent silver oxide cells that so far are lasting longer. If these also run down before the Amazon return period it will be returned, because I don’t want to keep replacing batteries almost as expensive as the thermometer itself!
