Only blender I could find WITHOUT a California Prop 65 warning
This is the only blender we could find WITHOUT a California Prop 65 warning which means with normal use, there are no health risks like cancer from the product. Ridiculous that every other blender warns of illness with normal usage. SO GLAD to have found this blender!This blender is manufactured in China for a company out of Colombia and only has liter markings, not cups. The power cable is two prong and seems to work just fine in the US. The instruction manual says to wash with soap and water and does not say if it’s dishwasher safe although the product description on Amazon says it is dishwasher safe.One note on the seller – Landers USA Inc – they shipped us a product which had clearly been opened and used once and resealed and was not new. There was a scrap of old paper towel on the blade like someone had cleaned and dried it, the plastic bag for the glass jar was at the base under the interior packing, and the lid was dusty and smudged.We are going to take a chance and keep this blender. Will update with more performance information once we’ve used it awhile. A test with plain water looked great.UPDATE: We have used it for a few weeks and performance lives up to all our expectations: everyday normal blends with about half and half liquids to solids blends into a thick smoothie without any chunks or grittiness. We have blended frozen fruit, peanut butter, frozen greens plus lime juice, olive oil, coconut water and sometimes soymilk and they taste somehow creamier – may be wishful thinking; whatever works, I say. Our old blender (two decades old) often left chunks of frozen strawberry in our smoothies, but not this one and therefore this blender is better.Other than performance, out of habit, we’ve always used earplugs when operating our blender and this one is no different as the noise level requires something to protect our hearing. Also out of habit, we’ve never used our old blender lid nor are we using the lid which came with this new blender; instead we cover the glass jar with an overly large mid-sized Viancin silicone pot lid over it and put our hand on top when blending. Dishwasher cleanup is very nice and everything comes out spotless.Finally, with a bigger blade than our old blender and a better seal with a thick ring of what looks like silicone to keep the blade sealed to the thick glass jar which is thicker than the one on our old blender and feels more substantial, we feel like we can make a bigger smoothie safely.So relieved to have found this blender. Yay!

I was so excited to use this blender it sounded like it was going to be an amazing powerful blender.I put it on it started out kind of powerful but it just kept getting slower and slower and I kept turning it up I tried to make it go backwards the more I did it the slower it got started smelling funky and next thing you know it was smoking and quit working first time using it buyer beware.I was blending up bananas basil and a pre-made smoothie mix it wasn’t even ice or anything hard and it was struggling to blend it

It is powerful and effortlessly blends my smoothies, I also crush frozen veggies without any chunks. I love the glass jar as it is sturdy and spacious, making it easy to prepare large batches for my family!
