Great choice for walking pad
I’ve only had this for a couple of days, but a few notes so far.* Build quality seems fine. I doubt it would survive in a commercial gym, but it seems adequate for home use.* It is fairly quiet when in use, but you can hear it. The biggest sound is the belt rubbing on the pad while you are walking. The motor barely makes any sound.* The app works better than I expected. It pairs with the walking pad easily and controls it straightforward. Was a bit worried when I saw some of the reviews on the app, but so far I would say it works very well. Putting my phone onto a charging stand next to my laptop give me a heads up display and easy access to all controls.* The remote could have benefitted from an extra button or two. It isn’t completely obvious how to perform some functions; however, once you use it for a bit then it’s not horrible. I still prefer the app though.* I wish the walking pad was about 2 inches wider. It’s not bad and it certainly helps to be more compact when stored, but there have been a couple times when I step into the frame instead of the belt. Most likely something that will go away with more use / training.* Weight is manageable. Light enough to move around (especially with the built on wheels) but heavy enough to be stable and not flimsy. I would not want to have to carry it around though and it will work best if you keep it in one room.* Speed options are good. The fastest speed is a decent jog. Honestly, any faster would really need a bigger belt. Will update if it doesn’t last, but based on what I have seen so far this is a great option for a walking pad.

Happy with this purchase!
Although I have only had my pad for a few weeks, I really love it! I purchased a shock pad to go under it to absorb shock to my knees and back. The highest walking speed is a lite jog, and the app is intuitive, with great data to share across other apps.

Fall in Love with Walking
I love this walking pad! It folds up and stores under my dresser. I wheel it out and use it 2-3x a week to watch 45 min of TV. The time flys, I get 6000-7000 steps in, Iâm walking during cold Chicago weather, my body feels better and my clothes fit better. The briskest pace is 3.75 which is about as fast as you can walk. Iâm a fast walker and I rarely use that speed. It is heavy, so thatâs something to consider from getting it from the delivery point to the room it will be in.Note that as soon as you flip the switch on the machine, it wants you to stand on the pad in 1-2 minutes or it will go to sleep and become finicky. I never turn it on until I have my shoes on, my TV show on, and Iâm ready to stand on the machine and walk.

Reliability is important
Yep – I only gave it 4 stars. That doesn’t mean I don’t love it. I think this is the best formfactor for an underdesk walking pad and none of the competetors even come close. My complaint is about the feature set and how viable those ‘features’ are The auto-mode doesn’t make sense when placed under your desk – it’s impossible to stand at the starting position when it’s properly placed for use under a desk. Positioning it properly means standing a foot and a half back from reaching your keyboard. Mine came with a broken display – an entire collumn of pixels is broken. Also, the bluetooth connection only supports a single connection at a time – this only really effects people who plan on using things like KingSmith WalkingPad integration for HomeAssistant; either you connect to HomeAssistant or you connect to the KingSmith app – I have to disable my HA integration and the HA BlueTooth controller in order to use the app to do things like calibrate. Also the “safety features” (which really need a software toggle for advanced users) mean it takes two or three tries to get the unit started – I think this has to do with the sensetivity of the two pressure sensor sections and just bad programming. Most users seem to be reporting improper factory calibration of the belt, and my unit is no different – I’ve had to run calibration five or six times now to get the belt running evenly. I’ve never had an issue with the unit stopping on me mid-run, regardless of “overheating” complaints that I’ve seen – instead I have issues getting it started to begin with. But once it gets going, this is the best walkingpad on the market. I would suggest no purchasing the Pro/Plus model. I would also suggest KingSmith check their sourcecode and release a firmware update to address some of these odd quirks with getting it started. My only other complaint is after contacting support, the first question they asked was if I still had the gigantic packing materials this came with – keeping the original huge box shouldn’t be a requirement for return/repair as I didn’t purchase the box I purchased the walkingpad. Either way, I’m very happy with this unit (when it works.) and it really is the best one out there. Your software engineers have some work to do and I really do hope there are future firmware upgrades available to address these issues – as well as correcting the marketing. Some users are complaining about the noise – it definitely isn’t a silent unit, but complaining about the fan spinning up is a bit pedantic. I really like this unit and I can’t wait to see what updates they bring to it. I do also wonder how long it will last – so far so good, even with the broken display (I’m guessing that was caused by damage in shipping and not quality control, but I’m not really able to return it without having saved the 10lbs of cardboard packing it came with.)

Great gift for the avid walker
My wife loves this gift. She walks on this daily and is perfect for the colder months when walking outdoors is not available. Motor isnât too loud, low profile look that folds up when not using and comes with a remote to get walking quickly.

This walking pad is easy to use and serves its purpose within the apartment. It’s amazing to see how compact, portable and functional treadmills have become! However, setting up the belt alignment correctly did take some time and several adjustment. It was also kinda noisy, and we were not sure if there was an issue with the machine. After correspondences with the manufacturer, it was discovered that the noise was normal and the machine was functioning properly. Regardless, we would give this useful fitness product a total of 5 stars.

Pros:- Comes with a remote so you don’t have to download the app.- Can fold and put away, wheels on the front help you move it.Cons:- When one of the secondary fans comes online it gets a bit loud- Aligning the belt took a couple tries. More annoying than a major issue though.

Originally I purchased the P1. However, I’m a 240lb guy. I was a little worried about the longevity of the P1 given my weight so I decided to give my wife the P1 and purchase the A1 for myself. It’s great, works well, same easy to set up folding mechanism. It’s heavy, but what can you expect. You want this thing to be built sturdy. Overall very happy with the purchase.

I bought this treadmill as it was one of the few folding options that had a higher weight limit (I am over the limit for most other models, and I live in a small condo, so space-saving is a must). I’ve been using it for a few days now, and it’s been working fine. It’s not as noisy as some other reviewers have said. Even when the fan kicks on, I have no trouble hearing the TV or whatever else I’m listening to (might be disruptive for others trying to share the same space, though). I wasn’t prepared for the amount of dizziness I feel getting off, so I’m still working up to using it for longer periods, but that’s a “me” problem! So far, it has performed how I wanted it to in terms of sound, size, and functionality. However, there are a few things I’d caution any prospective buyer about:- You’ll definitely want to use this with a desk of some sort! As the speeds increase over about 2mph, I notice an occasional hitch or stutter in the smoothness of the belt, which can cause you to stumble if you don’t have anything to hold on to. (I wondered if it was my weight causing this, but my partner noticed it too, and she is much lighter than me and used it first.)- The treadmill should be stored flat, it’s not designed to be tipped upright for storage, so plan accordingly. (I suspect this is because it may tip over, not because sitting on its side may cause damage, so you may be able to store it sideways at your own risk if you have somewhere secure to prop it up.)- It is a bit heavy and awkward to move around, if you are taking it out and putting it away every day, but I don’t think you’ll find an alternative that is better – this is pretty much the lightest and most compact option that I’ve seen.- The display panel shows your speed and distance in MPH. I wish there were a way to switch it to Km! (UPDATE: There is a setting in the app to switch everything to metric! After some more poking around, I found it!)All in all, I’m quite happy with this treadmill. It’s already helping me to get moving!
